The dealership misled us about our warranty--we told them the car was going with my son to college (so wouldnt be in the area for oil changes, etc). The salesman assured us not an issue, buy the warranty. We did and when we were leaving, we got an "oh, by the way, the car has to come here ONLY for oil changes, etc in order for your warranty to be vaild." It starts hard (hiccups) and we were told it was just sitting a while and would be fine. We were told the vehicle was inspected and nothing wrong with it. When it was diagnosed at Auto Zone, they told us if the car was truly inspected, they would have found the cause of the hiccup. The man I talked to at the dealership about the issue was rude and tried to 'mansplain' the warranty to me. No, you lied. Just own up to it. They also filed the registration late (because we live in IN and they are in KY) and didnt follow the correct steps. We were charged a late fee. When I took it in for an oil change (that we thought was free) we were charged $10 more. All they said was 'oops'. I havent gotten a call back on that issue either. DO NOT GO THERE!!! More
Excellent buying experience. Bill is very knowledgeable and helpful and will get you exactly what you need. Jesse was also very helpful during the finance part of the buying process. All of the staff we and helpful and will get you exactly what you need. Jesse was also very helpful during the finance part of the buying process. All of the staff were very welcoming and professional. They explain their products extremely well and let the customer make an informed decision on what they want without being pushy. This was the least stressful car buying experience we've ever had. We will definitely be referring friends to this dealership for future purchases. More
Thanks to Cameron in guiding me in buying my very first car. Cameron is not your average expectation of a car salesman. Highly recommend working with him in your car buying process! car. I would give zero stars if I could. This was the worst experience. First salesman told us a light on dash was normal, found out it indicated a safety feature wasn't working due to an undisclosed after mar experience. First salesman told us a light on dash was normal, found out it indicated a safety feature wasn't working due to an undisclosed after market windshield. We notice inconsistent mileage on carfax, salesman said it was no big deal and he would email to confirm it was corrected. Then they issued us a registration with the incorrect mileage (68000 vs the actual mileage of 37000). They said we had to wait for title to arrive before they could fix it, WE had to call about title and found it wouldn't have ever been sent because they never canceled the title application for previous buyers who backed out (wonder why!?!). We were driving a car in the names (and social security numbers) of two other people and with a registration that didn't match the vehicle!! That's not the end!!! ...they sold us a bumper to bumper warranty, but it did not cover the rusted brakes (pads and rotors) we had to pay to replace 3 months after we purchased it. One guy working there was awesome.... Wish we'd dealt with him. Instead we witnessed one of the finance guys bark at him and berate him right in front of us. This place is AWFUL!! we will never buy another mazda because of this experience. They obviously take no pride in their service or oversee their dealerships. Our experience was beyond bad...the registration/ title issue bordered on illegal. We were told by the title people at the capital not to drive it until the issues were resolved because of the possible legal implications. Horrible. More
I am sending this review to express my concerns for the I am sending this review to express my concerns for the sub par customer service that I recieved from Zachary J., Charles O. and Wayne the sales man I am sending this review to express my concerns for the sub par customer service that I recieved from Zachary J., Charles O. and Wayne the sales manager at Kerry Dealership in Florence, KY. I purchased my first brand new Mazda CX5 on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. Let me first say how excited I was to be able to make this purchase. I have NEVER owned a brand new vehicle and I chose Mazda because I previously owned a used 2004 Mazda 3. I fell in love with how dependable the car was even tho it was 11 years old at the time of purchase. I knew that when I was able to afford a brand new vehicle it would be a Mazda. The last 2 years I have searched and researched for the best deals via internet. OnJune 7, 2020, I made an appointment with Zachary at Kerry Mazda after finding the vehicle online. It was not only my military and first responder discount that was intriguing but the Mazda loyalty discount made my decision to purchase a no brainer. Long story short, I provided the requested documentation to show I had owned a Mazda by submitting a copy of my vehicle registration. After the document was reviewed by Wayne the (sales manager) he advised Zachary that the document was invalid due to my registration being expired. At that time I was ready to walk away from my intended purchase due to the loss of the loyalty discount putting me over my budget. Then Charles (sales supervisor) and Zach ask, if I had previously had insurance on the Mazda and if I could provide proof. I said yes but the information would still be outdated due to the car not being driven and insurance was dropped but they said it should be ok. Being that it was Sunday evening and the dealership was closing Zach ask me to send the additional documents to his email. On Monday, June 8, 2020 I sent additional documents requested at approximately 09:31 a.m via email to Zach. Zach was off on Monday. Charles sent me a text message asking when I will I be picking up the my new CX5. Since, Zach was out Charles ask me to send the additional documents to his gmail account in order to complete my purchase. I sent the documents. On Tuesday morning, June 9, 2020 I recieved text messages from Zach and Charles asking about my line of credit. To my dismay 24 hours later with my new vehicle at home I recieve a phone call from the dealership finance asking for more documentation to prove I was the previous owner of a Mazda. The phone call was unexpected and unappreciated. The dealership had more than one opportunity to advise that I was unable to utilize the loyalty discount with the documents I provided. Instead, I recieved a text stating it was an oversight on the finance side of dealership. Followed by a phone call from Wayne stating I need to return the vehicle. Instead of playing the blame game and snatching the vehicle back. I drove off the car lot with a car that had 2 miles on it and ther got it back with over 400 miles due to me residing over 100 miles away. Kerry Mazda had an easy job to do and failed!! I done the research, I had my own financing all they needed to do was review the paperwork and they suck at that. They penalized the customer for not paying attention to detail. In the end, I didn't lose money but I did lose my time which is more valuable. I expected a call from the GM at the very least and I still haven't heard not one thing; which proves my point about the subpar customer svc. However, Charles did reach out and apologized for any inconvenience that the transaction may have caused,(caused me to time and embarrassment). Mazda product is quality but the people selling the product, I'm questioning!! More
Understaffed Dealership Car dealerships have a reputation of being the worst when it comes to poor customer service and Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky is just one of those Car dealerships have a reputation of being the worst when it comes to poor customer service and Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky is just one of those dealerships. After agreeing to a cash deal online with Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky, we made a 300 mile trip from the Chicago area to pick up the vehicle. When we arrived at 9:00 am, I stated that we needed to be out of there within 2 hours as we had another 300 miles to get back home. The sales person, Charles Oglesby, stated that it wasn’t a problem, we would be on the road within two hours. That was a lie! Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky requires a finance manager to oversee all transactions even if there is no financing involved. Due to poor staffing there is no dedicated finance manager on site. So if the finance manager is at one of the Kerry Group other dealerships you have to wait for him to show up. That finance manager didn’t show up until 11:00 am. Never did get his name and his signature is unreadable. He then proceeded to give us blank ‘Power of Attorney’ forms to fill out. Is this a valid documents as it was never notarized while we were there? Let’s hope we actually get the correct title to the vehicle. Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky website states you can be prequalified in seconds and that the typical visit is 15 minutes to 2 hours but once you get to the dealership be ready to wait hours!! Due to Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky total disrespect of the value of the customers time it was 7:00 pm before we arrived home. Charles asked for a recommendation after the travesty of their service. So here it is. I will never purchase another vehicle from Kerry Mazda of Florence Kentucky and if you value your time you shouldn’t either. More

While service was analyzing issue, my husband spoke with James Fox, about specific models.. After speaking together for a few minutes, we decided to trade my 2014 for a 2017 Mazda cx-5, sport, premier. I CAN'T RECOMMEND HIGHLY ENOUGH, James Fox as your sales person...knowledageable, cordial, and very easy going. Answered every question..honestly and easily, like he was bothered with all of our questions. No pressure ever was felt, that he was unloading this car... from our future here beginning in 2013, WE are customers for life!!!! Our car is perfect, and exactly what we wanted!!!! Keep up the great work Kerry Mazda!!! But, specifically...James Fox!!! You Rock!! More

They all did their best to answers any/all questions about the vehicle in an honest, straightforward fashion, AND not attempt to OVER SELL the vehicle. Additionally, they all went "out of their way" to ensure my purchase decision was not interrupted by "sales speak". As for the purchase? What a CAR! This is the classiest, best driving, most enjoyable, automobile I have EVER driven. Mazda? you did the MAZDA 6 so perfectly. MAZDA 6 is a stunning automobile, yet it would easily win an award for "#1 most SPECTACULAR, FUN TO DRIVE, AUTOMOBILE -that nobody knows about". Take it from me: I test drove the Honda Accord, Toyota Camry, Nissan Maxima / Altima, Buick Verano, Volkswagon Passat, Kia Optima, and BMW 3 series: NONE of these automobiles are in the CLASS OF THE MAZDA 6 and ALL of these vehicles ride, interior, exterior, and OPTIONS fall far short of the MAZDA 6. Yes...I just wrote "the MAZDA 6 out performs and outclasses a BMW 3 series"... PEOPLE: IF you miss taking time to test drive the MAZDA 6 and evaluate this automobile AND miss talking to James, Scott, and Mike at Kerry Mazda... your making a terrible mistake. More
Nice but ineffective staff The staff is all very nice but they don't communicate effectively with each other or the customer. If you buy a used car, you will be told unequivocal The staff is all very nice but they don't communicate effectively with each other or the customer. If you buy a used car, you will be told unequivocally that the anti-theft etching is mandatory for all Kerry sales; yet when it's time to sign the paperwork, it clearly states that it is optional. You'll also be told that as a KY resident you get an impressive discount on your insurance. $12 is not impressive; save yourself $200 & call the bluff before you get to the paperwork so you don't have to wait for it to be reprinted to remove the etching from your dealer fees. I'd also recommend against closing a Sunday when the service department is closed. You'll either leave without your car or have to rearrange your schedule to return on another day to have the little things go they forgot to do taken care of. More
