This was the worst car/truck purchase of my life. I was ignored, lied to, manipulated among other things. I feel what was done during the negotiation and purchase of the vehicle was not ethical and certain ignored, lied to, manipulated among other things. All of the staff was professional, very helpful and friendly making my buying experience a very positive one. They did an excellent job getting the car ready for purchase, with new tires and detailing, in a matter of hours for me. We made an appointment to view a 2008 Mercedes GL450 via email. A representative called me back and confirmed the date and time and gave us a ‘VIP Code’ which apparently secured us prompt service. Needless to say that when we arrived we waited almost 1 hour in the waiting area with no sales rep to attend us. I need to add that my wife was pregnant and we had our 3 yo son with us. At one point the manager (?) finally brought the car for us to have a look at it and pulled some sales rep out of operation to assist us. We had a brief 10 min test drive and then I was pressured to drive back. After parking the car I noticed heavy oil leaking from the front. Normally a no go for me. But the sales rep called for backup and a senior sales rep (?) along with two mechanics came out and gave me that sales pitch that they checked the car thoroughly and this is just a seal that needs to be replaced… other than that, The car was visually in a decent condition. I got 1000usd off the price and believing the info from the sales guys, we agreed to purchase the car, seeing that we really needed a bigger car. It took 2 more hours to go through the purchasing paper work , where I was up sold some ‘anti theft device’ , that apparently is a requirement from the insurance ( bull crap of course as I found out later ). Only after the whole sales procedure I got passed on to the financing department ( note it was already almost 10PM) when I got presented with a bad financing option with my max monthly payment. When arrived home at midnight I had already a bad feeling about the whole buying experience. I brought the car to my local mechanic who checked it and it turned out that besides the oil leak , which came from the oil cooler and oil filter, the power steering rack was leaking , the brakes where done and the airmatic system was leaking. On top of that the car was at some point in time in an accident , which became clear when checking the car underneath. Something a good mechanic would spot immediately and surely was either spotted by the Nissan mechanic and covered up, or not spotted at all, which then shows the Nissan mechanics are blind or useless. Overall an unpleasant experience and I don’t recommend Nissan Kenosha. I give 1 star above min because all service was done in-house incl plates and i could take the car home on the spot. More
Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Once I showed interest in a vehicle and made an appointment to test drive they raised the price and it only got worse from there.
