This dealership is the only place that my wife and I use for service. Their service department has never disappointed me and keeps us updated on how whatever work we are having done is going. Highly recomme for service. Their service department has never disappointed me and keeps us updated on how whatever work we are having done is going. Even though I originally did not buy a Ford vehicle, Kendall is always willing and available to service my used Jeep when I call. I am happy I can depend on them and would recommend them to others. Everything was great with the truck until February of 2023 when there was a faint rubbing noise when braking at slow speeds. I figured it was a rock or something stuck in my brakes so I took it to les Schwab since it’s quick and easy for them to take a look. The tech came out and told me there was nothing stuck but instead my rear brakes were about done and needed replacing. I wanted a second opinion, so I took it to the Kendall quick service lane to have them checked again since I was also due for an oil change. When I picked it up, I spoke with one of the sales managers there because the quick lane department was closed and he asked me how I was liking it. I told him all was great except that the rear brakes apparently need replacing. He told me that they guarantee all vehicles they sell and that they are not sold with bad brakes, tires, etc. I got the truck but wasn’t able to see the inspection sheet since it was locked in the quick lane building which was closed that day. During the week I came back to get the summary sheet and everything was inspected EXCEPT the brakes. I called and was told that if there was nothing listed under the brake inspection, that it means they are fine. I didn’t have time to argue over the phone and thought maybe that was true so I didn’t take it back right away. A couple weeks later I got some time to take it back for them to inspect the brakes. This time, I get a call from the tech that not only are the back brakes needing replaced, but there is also a transmission or drive shaft problem. Apparently there is a clunking that happens when shifting from park to reverse. The tech showed it to me when I picked it up and you can really only hear it when you have the door open so I never heard it before. He recommended I take it to the full service department for further inspection. At this point I’m quite angry since I was told by Ronnie and the manager in the buying process that the brakes and tires were brand new. The front brakes are practically new but not the rear. So now I’ve got to take care of the brakes and this transmission/driveshaft issue. I call and speak with Jeff, one if their sales managers, about both issues. On the brakes, he claims that they make sure brakes are above the safety standard. I told him that I was told they are new and he didn’t seem to care about that. All he would say to me was that they were above the minimum safety standard when inspected prior to sale and that was that. He would not comment on me getting lied too about them when I bought it. He informed me that there is a limited powertrain warranty that should cover any transmission/driveshaft issues so that was some good news, but their service department is backed up until June to even take a look and diagnose unless I wanna leave the vehicle for 1-2 weeks so they can fit it in. I asked if there was any way he could get me something sooner considering all the issues. I get that service is busy and other people are scheduled but with all the issues I’m having and bad experience, I was hoping we could work something out. I was told no by Jeff and that June was it. So I have to either find up to two weeks where I can drop off my vehicle and they can work it in or I have to just drive my vehicle with transmission issues until June. I also have to pay 800 bucks for new brakes. Overall, I feel I’ve been screwed and lied too and due to these experiences, I will not be we be coming back here to Kendall Ford and I will make an effort to steer people away. I tried calling again and getting a general manager but had no luck even in leaving messages. One more thing, I purchased the vehicle with 28,000 miles and I have only put about 5000 miles in 6 months so there should be no brake or transmission issues this early on. Stay away from here! More

I also told him we would have to wait as we had no other transportation. He said he'd get it in quickly and it was done it about an hour. We could then do other things we needed to do when in Bend. Thank you and I am very pleased. More
