My husband and I had just had a bad experience with Lithia Nissan in town when trying to close a deal on a truck sale. Pablo Fonseca was very friendly, non pressure and helped my husband find just what he was looking for in a used truck. He knew his product very well and had all the answers (or went in to get any answers we needed). My husband came and got me later than afternoon to come and see the truck. Pablo greeted me very friendly and left us alone to look over the truck and to test drive it just the two of us. My husband had already negotiated the price, which was accepted and actually reduced a bit more for a few items we also wanted. There was absolutely no pressure and the process to close the deal was very nice (and short in duration). Chad Durfee handled the financing end which we used the CUDL program to set it up with our local credit union. He also made the process very easy and we worked through the numbers together. Chad was very friendly and worked with us and any questions we had he answered promptly and accurately. So, in the end, we purchased an even better truck with lower mileage and more items in it that we wanted and at a better price than the one we tried to close with Lithia. Kendall Ford even has a charity program that a donation goes to the Volunteers In Medicine Clinic organization - now that is community service at its finest! More
I recently purchased a car after mine was totaled in a serious car accident last summer. Once I decided, he was able to get me the car I had my heart set on at a price I could afford, and even had a dent fixed that I discovered after I got home. I feel like I have a friend who happens to be a car salesman. I was well taken care of and will definitely buy from Wayne again. From the other reviews I have read, I can see that my experience with Wayne and Kendall Ford was not unique and I recommend them without reservation. More
Thomas and Shawn went to great lengths to work with my 'less than ideal' credit situation. My Identity was stolen a year ago and it caused havoc on my Credit beacon score. Wow we are happy with our recent purchase from Kendall Ford in Eugene. Jeff Lowe was the salesman that helped us in buying a pre-owned 2010 Ford Escape this past weekend. He was awesome. I can't say enough about Jeff Lowe and Wayne Brown. You can tell when a salesmen is trying to work you. Jeff was honest and straight up with me. I honestly felt like he was working for me. He did not try to pressure me or talk me into something I didn't want. As for the vehicle, I am still amazed at the price I got. When I came back the next week to pay for the car, Wayne Brown was there to wrap things up. He was very helpful and personable. He even put 5 gallons in the tank so I would have enough to get home. If my mom needed a car, I wouldn't hestitate to send her to these guys. My friend at work told me he was going to Kendall to look for a vehicle. I told him to specifically ask for Jeff or Wayne. More
It was an extremely fast and easy process. We left the dealership happy and satisfied and not feeling taken advantage of like we have at other dealerships. I am giving a "great" rating across the board. I worked with Michael Higgins for the purchase of my 2013 Escape, and though I was considering other models from other lots, Michael was pati board. I worked with Michael Higgins for the purchase of my 2013 Escape, and though I was considering other models from other lots, Michael was patient in allowing me to make the best decision that worked for our family, without an aggressive sales pitch. Because Kendall has several lots, Michael provided me with the opportunity to test drive all of the vehicles that I was considering. He was informative and great to work with. This is the second Ford our family has purchased in the last month. Great friendly service and a great experience! More
I went to look for a used Escape, saw one, told the salesman what I had to trade, that I had looked on KBB, NADA and Edmunds, and made it clear I did not want to go through a big long negotiation. He told me no problem they didn't do that;.So I made an appointment to come back and when I came back 1 1/2 days later the price had gone up by $1000. They at first denied they did that, Then when given the printout from the internet they "e;didn't know how that happened"e;, but would honor it even though it wasn't the price. They tried to lowball me on my trade and wouldn't budge on the selling price that was Still above Kelly, NADA, and Edmunds dealer retail. They even insisted that they were giving me a discount (which was from the 2nd and higher price, not the one they showed me before and was posted on the internet.)I asked the salesman to show the Sales Manager the internet printout I brought, and somehow that couldn't be found. I wanted better tires and they said they would give them to me at cost. When I asked what that was, they quoted me $700. which is way above retail for that particular tire at any tire store in town. A wasted day, but I see how one can cave in to get away from the grind. The next day I saw an ad for the same car in the R.G. It was a third and different price yet.similar to the original price they showed me. Well I went to Portland area, bought a similar Escape for close to $1,000 under retail, with great tires, got more for my trade than Kendalls highest figure, and the whole process including drive time was less time than the total time I spent at Kendall I would NEVER recommend buying there. I was very pleased with my sales experience at Kendall Ford. We looked at a Ford C-MAX, and made several visits over the course of two weeks.
