The sales department is a complete steaming pile of garbage. Besides Mike the used car manager, and my salesman Ali, everyone else lies through their teeth. I bought the truck, took it home. Brake lights didnt work, one headlight was out, truck was filthy as it was not detailed (i already knew it was too late in the day for them to clean it, so i dealt with that part). It was promised to me that the truck would be detailed when I dropped it off to get those items mentioned above taken care of. It wasnt. When buying the truck, Finance department told me that their three dealer-forced warranty packages on a used car (appearance, lo-jack, and etch packages) are helpful because even though I couldn’t remove them from the deal, in event of a small ding, or a lost key, the packages would help me take care of those issues. I try to get the phone numbers of the companies to call them, the phone system at that dealer is impossible to get through. I finally go in person, of course the finance character daniel is not there. I speak to his boss and his boss tells me i didnt buy any of those warranties. I explain to him what daniel told me about those packages, he says “nah they dont cover that” I speak with mike the manager of used car sales. He says call the company (mike was very helpful). I call them company, sure enough they dont cover that. I call the finance guy (surprisingly get through the phones) and he all of a sudden gets amnesia (even after we chatted about the old coworkers we had in common, other dealerships we both had worked at together, so on) and says nope i never told you that. I said you did, you said that even though those packages couldnt be removed, they are very helpful for the same reasons. Mind you i closed the deal only a month prior, all of a sudden he forgets. Call the company (NSD) that they sold me those packages under to cancel the policy, they tell me that under that dealers request, they cannot cancel any policies. I call the dealer, they say they wont cancel any policy (no reason why, they just wont). All in all a very shady place to do business at. Take your business elsewhere. More
