Thank you Jason for your service. To this point we are extremely pleased with our purchase. We still have a lot to learn about our new car, and we are excited about it! We have certainly received the most professional service from all of you that we have ever encountered before. We have been to several dealerships down the road from you in search of the right car for us. None of them were as professional and prepared to serve as Ken Garff. After our visit with you regarding prices, we double checked on the Internet and found you were absolutely right on. We were impressed with how up front and honest you were from the very beginning. We appreciated that honesty. It is from that honesty that you build trust and that is what will keep us coming back. Each of you that worked with us made an impressive and lasting "first impression". You are fun, knowledgeable and very professional. Thank you for your excellent service. Leanna Riddle More
We were in the market for a Black 2012 Honda Odyssey EX-L. Shannon and Corey worked hard to find what we wanted and when they could not find the exact match they went the extra mile. Over 3 days of hard EX-L. Shannon and Corey worked hard to find what we wanted and when they could not find the exact match they went the extra mile. Over 3 days of hard work we were able to get what we wanted at a good price. I was impressed with their communication keeping me updated and their willingness to negotiate over the phone. We are very pleased with the new vehicle and the great lengths they went to meet our expectations. I would recommend this dealership to my Friends and Family, give Shannon a call she is fun to work with. More
Our car-buying experience took us 4 long hours. I was very disappointed in the trade-in offer (about $2K less than "Blue Book"). And while the extended warranty, and the service plan were explained in gr very disappointed in the trade-in offer (about $2K less than "Blue Book"). And while the extended warranty, and the service plan were explained in great detail, the "required" taxes and fees were not. Unfortunately, I had not read the previous reviews, and only noticed a VTR fee after we got home. This is NOT a required fee, but a "Vehicle Theft Recovery Program" that was glossed over. I would never have agreed to this $400 charge had I been told about it honestly. Ken Garff claims "Absolute Honesty and Integrity" but automatically adds a couple unnecessary fees to the bottom line. Those that I worked with were very helpful in straightening things out and showed more integrity than the sneaky dealership. If I shop there again, I know who I will work with and what to watch out for. More
Buying a car can be very stressful. We visited several dealerships and test drove several cars. The level of sales person experience at some dealership varies widely. Some sale men don’t really know muc dealerships and test drove several cars. The level of sales person experience at some dealership varies widely. Some sale men don’t really know much about their cars when you ask them a question they say I will check and get back with you. I can read the sticker on the window. I expect my sales man to know more than what is on the sticker for the cars they are selling. At Ken Garff Honda the sales staff is very knowledgeable about their cars. When I had questions they had answers. They knew the ins and outs about their cars and are continuously educating their customers about the cars. Overall we are very happy with our purchase. We had four cars we were trying to choose from. We finally selected the Honda Civic for its good gas mileage, reliability, and roominess. Only complaint we had was it took 5 hours of negotiating to get a good price on the vehicle and that seemed excessive. More
The reason I only rated the overall experience as "Good" relates to an issue I had with the final contract for sale. The salesman was great and his price estimate was accurate. But because the acce "Good" relates to an issue I had with the final contract for sale. The salesman was great and his price estimate was accurate. But because the accessories were not installed by the day we were supposed to pick up the vehicle, a delivery was set up. This meant the paperwork was handled by Finance and they called me over the phone to go through it. Upon delivery, the representative had me start signing papers. I ran across an item labeled VTR (with no explanation) on the contract. With tax it was over $400. It was a charge for "Auto Shield" a vehicle tracking/recovery program. I never asked for this and I don't recall it being explained on the phone (and if it was, it was very cursory and I would have asked if it was additive in price). I certainly don't recall it being pointed out as a $400 charge. I live in what is probably the lowest crime rate city in the US, and in the safest neighborhood. Even when we lived in LA I would never have agreed to this charge. I was lucky to have caught this charge and eventually got Finance on the phone and had them drop it. Nonetheless, the feeling I was left with was that they were trying to slip one past me for another $400 onto the purchase price for something of no value to me. Everything else about the experience was great, but this left a very sour taste in my mouth. More
My sales person, Ryan Kowalczyk at Ken Garff Honda Ogden, was exceptional! Mine was an unsurpassed sales experience. Your whole team (sales, transportation, finance, cashier) was extremely helpful. One was exceptional! Mine was an unsurpassed sales experience. Your whole team (sales, transportation, finance, cashier) was extremely helpful. One unique aspect of the sale is that I am in Okinawa, Japan. I have never visited the dealership. I was able to get the car I wanted, when I wanted, at the price I wanted, have my son fly in from Japan, pick up the car and drive off the lot without a single hiccup. All coordinated in less than a week. Wow! Due to the time difference being on the other side of the world, Ryan even spent some of his own personal time working with me when he was not on the clock in order to accommodate my schedule. Ryan Kowalczyk did an outstanding job of orchestrating the whole evolution! Joe R. More
Mr. Herbert was very professional and helpful. My parents were in the market for what they thought would be the purchase of a certified used CRV, but in the end, and with Mr. Herbert's recommendation, they p were in the market for what they thought would be the purchase of a certified used CRV, but in the end, and with Mr. Herbert's recommendation, they purchased a new 2011 CRV. Mr. Herbert asked right away what it was that we were looking for in the vehicle we wanted to purchase, and if the used CRVs that they had did not have the features we wanted, then we should consider buying a new CRV, with only the features that we did want. GREAT IDEA! Everyone at Ken Garff of Riverdale was very professional. We felt that purchasing the CRV at Ken Garff of Riverdale was without a doubt the best decision since they are close to my parent's home of residence and they had had good experience before in this dealership when they took in their other Honda vehicle - Civic for service after a minor accident. Knowing that they could take the CRV for service at Ken Garff of Riverdale will definitely give ease my parents anxiety when it comes to maintenance of their new CRV. Thank you very much, The Barboza Flores Family More
Before I realized that their new motto is "we hear you" that was what I thought about Sheldon. When I first came in I had a list of what I wanted in a car. He listened carefully and then showed me t you" that was what I thought about Sheldon. When I first came in I had a list of what I wanted in a car. He listened carefully and then showed me the car he thought matched what I had said. Great job! I spent a lot of time doing research after that first visit, looking at other brands and dealers, but in the end I got a CR-V which was exactly what he showed me my first time in. He didn't waste my time or his trying to push me into things that were nothing like what I wanted as salesmen at other dealers have done. He was very knowledgable, helpful, patient, and friendly. He kept in touch but didn't make a pest of himself. Each time we talked I was able to refine my preferences. When just the car for me came in to their inventory, he immediately called me. What a find! I would recommend him to anyone. Pretty much each person I came in contact at the dealership was helpful and friendly. More

Bought a 2011 Honda Insight They may not be honest all Bought a 2011 Honda Insight They may not be honest all the time, verify all the information you receive from them and preferably talk to them over Bought a 2011 Honda Insight They may not be honest all the time, verify all the information you receive from them and preferably talk to them over the email and keep phone conversations to a minimum. Heard about Bait and Switch? Well they tried it all. Almost all tricks in the book. Offered a lower price, then said no availability, then when they locate one, they asked for 200USD transport charges which were nowhere talked about initially. Said the car is being transported from Nevada, when in reality they got the vehicle from a Twin Falls Dealer in ID. 300USD Documentation charges... all for no documentation. No efforts, no services. Asked them about a Loan from Honda Finance. They said sure, why not. Checked the credit history and said 2.99% APR for 5 years, loan is approved and only need to complete formalities. When the papers arrived, the APR was 5.5%! and loan term as 6 years... when I asked them about it.. they flatly denied they told me anything about 2.99% being approved!... Please go to them, if you want to feel like trash!... Oh btw, .. they have their own ppl writing great reviews for them!... so again... beware... Good luck with your Purchase!... More
