Not even close to meeting expectations I made an appointment to have a remote start put on my car. Honda factory remote start that we added on when I pitched my HRV. When I made the appointment I was told it would take 2-3 hours. I made it at a time(8:30am) I would be able to get it back before I had to go to work. I dropped it off and Duda told me it would take 1/2 day to complete, still ok I could make it to work after picking it up. I called to check in just before 1pm and it wasn’t done but would be done by 3. At 2:15 I was called by Dan and informed that there was a missing piece that they had to get from Salt Lake but not to worry it would be done by 3. Not even 20 minutes later I received another call saying it wouldn’t be done before 5(the time I had to be to work.) He did offer me a rental car, which I didn’t need. A service that I was told would be 2-3 hours initially has now turned into a full day! To say I was frustrated is an understatement. When I was able to go in the next afternoon to pick it up it was yet another circus. I asked the guy who gave me my key in the service department (I don’t know his name), to show me how it worked. We walked out to the car and after trying he said he didn’t know how to work this remote start. We went back in and he found a sales associate, Ethan, because they have had the training on these. Well he couldn’t do it either. He went back to the technicians and it took 2 of them to finally get the simple instructions on how to work it. At that point I would have been better off to sit in the car and read the entire manual. I can’t submit a complaint without having a solution. 1-if you tell someone a time frame make sure you know how long it will really take or over estimate. 2-your service people who are the face of the department should have the training on things like a Honda remote start. More
