From the first time I went to look at a potential car to buy, to buying the car and now routine maintenance, every person we have interacted with has been friendly and professional. I said recently to my hu buy, to buying the car and now routine maintenance, every person we have interacted with has been friendly and professional. I said recently to my husband that this is the kind of experience we have been wanting with a car dealership - no stress about purchasing certain things or taken offense if we are offered something we don’t want. We even received a summary video of our yearly inspection and it was very informative explanation of what they look for and at what points they would begin recommending new brakes and such. Would give more than 5 stars if I could!! More
We purchased certified preowned tundra from here. the sales experience ( nick) was great. However we later found out that aftermarket parts should be replaced w oem parts before they are sold certified preowned. We found this out from someone at ganley as well as corporate. We also purchased the platinum extended warranty. 8 months after purchase we had to replace the exhaust pipes as they were aftermarket and not covered ($414 which I now believe is owed to us & ill be waiting for a call).. why weren’t these replaced with oem parts? Then on Tuesday the tail lights stopped working (also aftermarket and not replaced but we didn’t know), truck wouldn’t go out of park several lights on the dash ect. Took it back to ganley to be told we couldn’t get a loaner which is covered under the warranty. We were told we couldn’t get a loaner because they weren’t positive it was warranty work. I also found out from an employee the loaners on site are there for any customer and Toyota can choose to give out at this discretion, if 55k plus 2 warranties doesn’t qualify you what does? Anyway after several back and forth calls and a call to corporate they replaced the tail lights. My husband went to pick up the truck and asked for his old lights and was told by Robert Killmeyer “ you cant have these lights I paid for them”.. uhm we bought the truck and the warranties? If you go get new tires and want the old ones they give them to you same with wheels ect. Rob proceeded to tell my husband “no one can confirm or deny these lights are yours”. My husband stated several people at Ganley knew what was going on and rob then said “ no one knows more than me” LOL. So at this point its more than just the tail lights it’s the point we both own Toyotas spent a good amount of money and are being treated poorly. My husband then had to go to the police to see if they considered this theft. (a report was filed) ONLY AFTER all of this did Robert call my husband and tell him he could come pick up his lights. Im waiting to see if anyone above him calls us about the above and the exhaust before I file a few corporate complaints. More
