Horrible personality and totally not interested in helping us. We wanted to finance with Nissan Financial and she want us to finance with someone else and when we said no we want Nissan Financial she helping us. Service manager Mike seemed a little hesitant to perform a re-flash of the ECU because, according to what he told me, they had never done one. And the techs didn't seem to be aware that Consult 3+ gives th a re-flash of the ECU because, according to what he told me, they had never done one. And the techs didn't seem to be aware that Consult 3+ gives the option to treat the existing ECU as a new ECU so that it will re-install the factory ECU software. As a Nissan master tech of 38 years told me on the NICO forum, "Most of the dealer techs don't know that Consult 3+ gives them the option to treat the old ECU unit as a new ECU without software. If it won't do a re-flash that is because Consult 3+ looks at the ECU part number, not the actual software, and thinks that it has the latest version. So when a tech wants to re-flash an ECU, he should choose "new" so that Consult 3+ will be fooled into thinking the ECU is new. Then, the ECU will take the factory software re-flash." They did a good job in scanning for DTC's. But I think they they were hesitant, or didn't know how, to take the next step and actually re-flash the ECU. I'd, still, like to return and give this a try. I think we could get smarter out of this. More
