I was waited on promptly but wasn't sure if I was the right place. The waiting area is nice. More

Vehicle Diagnosis On August 29, 2019, I brought my vehicle (2013 Ford Escape) in to be checked for problems starting and wipers coming on and unable to turn off. I was On August 29, 2019, I brought my vehicle (2013 Ford Escape) in to be checked for problems starting and wipers coming on and unable to turn off. I was then told by the Service Advisor that the battery needed replaced and so did the connection cables. I agreed to have this work done which it was. I then was advised that the Multi-Point Inspection showed a major flaw in the transmission/gaskets. I had planned to leave that afternoon for vacation in Hilton Head, SC and was told it would not be a good idea to take the vehicle and if I was planning on keeping it to just drive it locally. I then left and decided to rent a vehicle the trip. When I returned home, I then took my Escape to a friend who has his own auto service business. I explained what the Service Advisor told me and asked that he run the same test, which he did. I was then advised that there was absolutely nothing that showed up concerning the transmission on the Multi-Point Inspection test other than he advised to have my spark plugs replaced due to the vehicle having 98,000 miles and have never been changed. I have since drove my vehicle to numerous places - including a 7 hour trip to Pennsylvania and have had no problems - no indicator lights coming on, etc. Please note that I am NOT accusing anyone of wrongdoing. I think the technician may have been mistaken or the wrong error codes came up. Also note we have bought our vehicles in the past from your dealership and just purchased two more this past summer.
