At this point, I have had good communications with Anthony. I have explained to Anthony the facts but do understand his frustration. In regards to the payoff, that was sent in on time and his bank lost the check that we sent. We had to stop payment on the check, issue a new check and send that in. In the meantime, the daily interest was accruing and the check that we sent in was short. His bank collected the $107 difference from his account. We ended up sending him that amount. He said that he never got it but when I had the office research it, we found it to be signed and cashed by him right after we sent it out. In regards to the window tinting, the car had the tinting on the windows when we sold the car. It was darker but not looking like it would fail inspection. Anthony liked the look of it so we kept it on. At the time, we were using a third party inspection station across the street from our facility. It would not be possible, nor would we condone if it were our own facility, to manipulate the outcome of his initial inspection sticker. He received one meaning the tinting passed state inspection. I'm not sure why a later inspection station would fail it. The women on the phone meant that we would never be dishonest in our efforts. Anthony and I have since talked and I offered to pay for the tinting being removed, replaced with new tinting and a new inspection sticker. He accepted and we have since sent out the check.
