My family and I have always been treated most professionally when dealing with Quick Lane for past seven years. I have also bought two new cars from Thomas Ford during that time (2005 Focus and 2 professionally when dealing with Quick Lane for past seven years. They have all been serviced by Quick Lane Team, led by Brian Trombetto, and consistently exceeded our expectations. In fact, Brian even provided me some emergency expertise via phone in July when my Freestar had transmission problem while driving. I was very impressed with the way I was treated and taken care of by Barbara after our last visit was not so good. This time every thing was completed at the said time. My son purchased a 12 year old Used car a while back and we needed to have some work done to get the vehicle in shape. After taking the vehicle to another Service Station and failing to get an inspection s we needed to have some work done to get the vehicle in shape. After taking the vehicle to another Service Station and failing to get an inspection sticker due to a check engine light coming on, that station recommended replacing the catalytic converter and water pump which was "leaking" to rectify the problems. After asking around, a friend referred me to Thomas Ford Quick Lane. Brian and his crew performed a thorough inspection and suggested the converter looked fine and I should try replacing the Oxygen sensors to see if that would fix the emission problem. It did. In addition he explained that the anti-freeze leak was not because I needed a new water pump, but rather it was caused by a loose hose clamp which they promptly fixed. In both instances, I feel Brian and his crew acted in my best interest, fixed ony the problems that needed fixing and explained the problems and my options at every stage along the way (not to mention saving me money). I was so impressed with the Service and professionalism of Brian and his staff, that I ordered New Tires for my Wife's Ford Taurus X that day. I needed tires but was planning on buying tires at a later time and maybe at a different place. The service I got that day convinced me that I would get better value & Service from Brian and his crew, than I would get from any discount tire store any day. It was an excellent service experience and I will be telling my friends. More
I have NEVER had my previous vehicles serviced at the dealer after the warranty was up. I worked at several auto dealers during high school and college. Shortly after my warranty was up, Thomas Ford had several opportunities to take advantage of me as a customer. Having worked in dealerships I am aware of certain tactics that can be of questionable nature and help to increase revenues. Thomas Ford did not use these tactics, and as a result I have become not only a loyal Thomas Ford service customer, but also a devoted ford truck customer for the first time. I even thinking of having my wife's new Toyota serviced there! More
Very friendly staff and very accomodating when you have a problem and need to get quick service. Repair and maintenance work is very thorough and good quality. Had roadside breakdown on Route 128 in my 1998 CrownVic friday morning. Called Thomas Ford - talked to TJ - got phone number of tow service who arrived in 15 min. Car was looked at within 2 hours and an es friday morning. Called Thomas Ford - talked to TJ - got phone number of tow service who arrived in 15 min. Car was looked at within 2 hours and an estimate of $1500+ for fixing problem plus a series of unrelated repairs which I authorized. Car was ready by Monday lunchtime with problem fixed plus much improved steering/brakes. Drove home to Maryland tuesday. More
