Thomas Ford is a hassle free experience, with very competitive model offerings and a no nonsense approach. Service department is tops and they are across the street from train to Boston. Just bought my second Ford Escape Hyrbid from Thomas. Trade -in value was fabulous. I have become a big fan of the escape. Own a mercedes E-class which is also very good, but expensive to service. On balance, the escape is more fun to drive and economy is wonderful. Close to 500 miles on a fill up. More

I have bought vehicles at Thomas ford before, and find them to be very responsive to any problems,or concerns. The sales people are very friendly and answer questions, as well as find the answer if they a them to be very responsive to any problems,or concerns. Price is better than most local dealers if you barter a bit, there fees for paper work and registry etc I think could be improved. The truck comes with a full tank of Gas, (36 gallons @$3.75, which is nice. It would be a nice gesture to have the first oil change and checkup included also. More

After going to a few other dealerships I settled on Thomas Ford for purchasing my 2011 Taurus. Tony was great when I test drove the car and not at all pushy. The sales staff is extremely professional and never resorted to the shady tactics I have experienced at other places (ie taking my license and not giving it back until they could get me in a car that day... I'm looking at you Ira Toyota). I planned on ordering my Taurus new from the factory. A week after order the factory stopped making the color I wanted due to supply problems in Japan. Jim called me and found my car exactly as I ordered it at a dealership far up in Maine. I had it in my driveway in 2 days after that. They gave me a great honest deal on the car and I could not be happier. What sets great dealership apart isn't always what they do right but how they handle the curve xxxxx that get thrown into a purchase. They handled everything like professionals and I will definitely be back for cars and service. More
I just bought a 2011 Ford Escape from Thomas Ford and am so far very pleased with the dealership. I did a lot of research online before test driving any vehicles. I narrowed it down to three vehicles and, s so far very pleased with the dealership. I did a lot of research online before test driving any vehicles. I narrowed it down to three vehicles and, since Thomas was closest, I started with them and had a great test drive with Stuart. I then went to Ira Toyota and got so much pressure from the cliche of a sales manager "Lenny" (literally, "What's it gonna take to . . ." sheesh!) that I walked out and never went back. So, having narrowed it down to two cars, I took another test drive with my wife a week or so later, again with Stuart. There was never any pressure to buy something else (except to simply ask if we wanted to try a Flex), and all of our questions were very patiently answered. When I went in to buy the car, Stuart remembered me and we got down to business. They managed to come up with a financing package that was very agreeable and competitive. The car was ready to drive away in a couple of hours and Stuart went over all of its features, including helping me to set up the SYNC system with my phone. There was never any pressure or defensiveness or any impatience; they just did their job in a straight forward and professional way. I also love that the dealership is right in downtown Beverly instead of out on a highway somewhere. I can even drop my car off for servicing and walk to the commuter rail! The showroom is not flashy and it's a small dealership, but they had what I wanted and did right by me. Highly recommended. More
