Fuel spilling into the engine after repair was "done" Very bad poor is to good of a review. I would love to go into full detail of how bad the service was from the second I arrived at the service area bu Very bad poor is to good of a review. I would love to go into full detail of how bad the service was from the second I arrived at the service area but I don't have enough time at this point but I will follow up with one. Here are the biggest and most dangerous issues that happened. After a very long and disrespectful meeting with several of the staff where they accused me of making up the issue among other things. I finally had to leave and got into my truck to drive 3 miles to my house. From the second I started the truck a strong gas smell was there. I chalked it up gas on the hands of the people working on the truck. However upon pulling into my driveway the smell remained very strong. I looked the truck over and could not find a leak. I looked under the hood and while there was a smell nothing was seen leaking so I fired the engine up and was shocked. Gas was flowing like a hose from one of parts that had been "repaired" the gas was shooting directly onto the engine block from the pressure valve that was "replaced". Keep in mind I only drove 3 miles. I quickly shut the truck off and called the service department. I was told that they test drove it and it was fine, (I will revisit that in a second), They did give me a tow truck driver to call and they did come tow it, that was nice of them. Back to the fuel leaking and them "test driving the truck after the repair" I asked how far the truck was driven and I was told at least a mile on a course they have around the dealership. I was shocked and felt it wasn't true but had nothing to disprove it until I thought later about the reason the truck was taken in. It is a 93 F-150 with two tanks, the back tank was the reason I had to take it in do to a recall issue for safety concerns. The truck would not run more than 50 feet while on the second tank, however when the rep brought be the truck it was sputtering and shutting off due to the fact that it was on tank two. It is difficult to change the tank from one to the other due to a prior repair. I put it on tank two when I pulled it into the dealership to show them the issue. If they drove it after the "repair" the truck would have needed to be on tank 1 not 2. I find it hard to believe it would start spraying fuel only after I drove it. I am still trying to get my truck repaired from them but doesn't look good at this point. They are now telling me they put a new valve in the truck but are not repairing the other safety issue recall due to the millage even while Ford 800# tells me otherwise! I see other good reviews but word of advice keep notes and follow up and make sure they did what they said they would do. More

Never again will I purchase a car from any Kelly dealership. We have been loyal customers of Kelly dealerships for several decades having bought my very first car from Roland Kelly and many more ove dealership. We have been loyal customers of Kelly dealerships for several decades having bought my very first car from Roland Kelly and many more over the years. Making it easy is not how customers find it when you have your car serviced at least at the Kelly Ford dealership in Beverly. I have had ongoing issues with my radio and heating/AC that will now require a third appointment to locate the problem. Last week we brought my daughters 2016 Ford Fusion for an engine light indicator. After a couple of days in the shop we were told the problem was fuel injector sensor and the cost was over3 hundred dollars the next day the engine light came on again. It took more than a week to get another appointment and 2 more days in the shop. This time the bill was 5 hundred dollars for what John told me was for a repair that basically had no adverse impact on the car. We asked for a courtesy 10 percent discount but was denied by the service manager Melvin. Most consumers expect when your paying top dollar for expert mechanics you bring your car once and the problem is solved but not at Kelly Ford. I will bring my car back for the third time to see if the issue with my heating system can be found. It’s winter after all and it would bice to have heat without wondering if it will be working today or tomorrow or next week. When Kelly Ford claims “we make it easy” I think it means Kelly makes it easy for Kelly to make a profit. Frustrating, irritating and difficult is what Kelly is really all about. More
