We recently relocated to the Matthews area from Northern New Jersey. We brought our 2011 Jeep and our 2007 Dodge Ram with us. The sales Manager Frank introduced me to Brandon Melendez , he referred to Brandon as one of our "Ram Experts" (in what I thought was just typical sales hype.) I could not have been more wrong. Brandon is in fact a Dodge Ram, Ram Truck Guru. He explained each and every feature,upgrade, change and improvement between the 2012 and the 2013 models and the changes and improvements in Dodge and the Ram brand since I originally purchased my 2007 1500 SLT QC. He patiently listened to my wife and I discuss the various options of each of the more than 20 vehicles he showed us. As I said earlier I came here from Northern New Jersey and have purchased no less than 9 Dodge, Ram and Jeep products over the last 10 years under very different ( and not very pleasent ) circumstances. I had no intention of purchasing a vehicle that night and gave Brandon and the sales staff a challenge...Give me exactly what I want for my trade and find a very specific vehicle. At 10:00 the following morning I received a telephone call from a very excited Brandon Melendez....not only were they able to give me the amount I requested on my trade but they found the exact truck I described located near Knoxville TN and had actually sent a driver over there to bring it back to Matthews to sell to me. Chris is a super salesman. He knew all the answers and the ones he didn't know he made sure he got for us. He got us the car we wanted in the color we wanted and the whole deal was completed in less than the ones he didn't know he made sure he got for us. Let me start by saying that Shaun Shore as our salesman was terrific to deal with. Have dealt with him before at another dealership and would do so again. Sales managers and GM left a very bad taste and we will not be back nor will we recommend this dealership to anyone. The sales game has taken a new low and we were pulled in hook, line, and sinker. And, after NUMEROUS requests, still can't get them to stop calling us or a referral WE made (prior to the drama) for a fictitious appointment they're looking forward to seeing us for? Things that leave you scratching your head. More
