The dealership was great to work with. The vehicle has had a few issues, but am working through them. So far the service department has been excellent, thanks to Dale! I found “THE ONE” online at Kearns, only problem is, I live states away and could not see the vehicle in person or test drive it. Skeptical, I reached out to Kearns and talked with Phil. Phil was top notc live states away and could not see the vehicle in person or test drive it. Skeptical, I reached out to Kearns and talked with Phil. Phil was top notch! He promptly answered all my questions, texts, and phone calls; he even arranged for a FaceTime call so I could see more than just the online photos. The purchasing process went smoothly and quickly; 5 business days from my first interaction with Kearns to delivery of my vehicle. It was everything Kearns & Phil said it was. Thank you! More

If buying a vehicle from Kearns auto, be prepared. These people are professional, used car salesman, and if I was to do it again, I would take a professional car buyer with me to negotiate. I haven’t These people are professional, used car salesman, and if I was to do it again, I would take a professional car buyer with me to negotiate. I haven’t purchased many vehicles in my life. The Escalade was detailed as well, as anything I’ve ever seen detailed. In fact, it looked brand new. It looked so good in fact that I didn’t notice hidden damage on the rocker panels. Before I knew it was as damaged as it is, I brought it to their attention and felt they considered it a non-issue. They didn’t really want to talk about it when I expressed my concern. When I got the vehicle home and and washed it, there was rusty water, running out of the rocker panels. I consulted an expert body repairman, he told me the rocker panels, hence the unibody, are rusted beyond repair unless I want to spend 4-5, $6000.00. In fact, he said, I can just about put my finger right through it. When I returned the next day to pick up the vehicle I had left there, and told my salesman, Shane, about this issue, he said, take some pictures and he’ll take it to his boss and see what he can do. I did all of that. Long story short, after speaking with one of the managers, Tim, they basically told me to get lost. In the aftermath, here just a few weeks later, they look much worse than they did. I believe they cleaned up the rockers to make them look decent, but knew that they weren’t good. Since rocker panels are part of the structural integrity of this vehicle, I feel the dealership should either pay to have them repaired or let me return the vehicle. On the buyers guide, they marked the unibody as legal. I do not believe it’s legal in this condition. The vehicle is it listed on the buyers guide as the sound system/entertainment system is working. In fact, Sirius XM does not work. This was determined by Sirius XM themselves. The threshold lights on both front doors do not work. I know when buying a car, it’s buyer beware, but I believe that you have to trust the dealership to some point. Especially when they have 300-$500,000 cars for sale sitting all around the dealership. I guess in this case, I was mistaken. It’s very difficult to ascertain the condition of a vehicle on a 10 minute test drive and a visual inspection. More
