Neil Fogel of Karp Kia in Rockville Center in New York is the man to see. I like to refer to him as Mr. WONDERFUL. Talk about a gentle soul and true professional. Neil is soft spoken and is extremely trust worthy. He answered my questions with clarity and understanding, so much so that I didn’t test drive it because I have had ten years of the pleasure of driving in my sisters Kia leases. In my many years of driving that’s the first time I never needed a test drive though it was offered. My sister Joanie’s experiences with Kia and Neil’s knowledge and belief in the product allowed me to make this very innovative move. Neil has continued to answer my questions since the purchase. He’s an amazing gift. I felt like Santa Claus gave me a present even though I have to pay it. It is with the greatest of pleasure I recommend you visit Neil Fogel and Karp Kia. I bought my Sportage there. My salesman Tom was attentive, knowledgeable and his friendship made me feel comfortable as if I knew him for years making the sale a breeze. When I originally entered the dealership I was hoping to get a Sorento as quickly as possible. Neil was very upfront with the me in explaining the current shortage of vehicles industry wide. I live just 2 miles away, so was a little disappointed, seeing I would have to look elsewhere. I wanted an int/ext combo that was not very common, and recognized my search would be more difficult. I then went to AutoWorld and was told that my vehicle was in transit and would be available in a little over 2 weeks. What followed was an absolute nightmare. I was unable to reach my salesperson for a few days, so I went to the dealership only to find out. it was due to personal issues. One would hope someone would have been available in his absence. Or at least returned my calls. During my visit I met with the manager Hector Suarez who apologized and assured me he would be available to assist in any way. He confirmed it was still in transit. My next call confirmed it was still in transit. Then after being told it was in transit for over 2 weeks I was told that there was inventory issues. Considering the car was coming from West Point Ga. and being told it had been in transit, I figure I could have pushed it here with some help. So hearing that was not very encouraging in the level of honest communications I was receiving. Since I had committed so much time I decided to stick it out, which I soon regretted. On 2 further attempts to reach Hector, and on the phone both times for close to 10 mins, he was not available to speak to me and never called me back. The next time I visited the showroom it was to get my deposit back. Time is the most precious thing we have, and I felt very strongly that AutoWorld STOLE TIME FROM ME!!!! I returned to Karp Kia and soon learned the difference between being appreciated and respected and the total opposite!!!! Neil Fogel was an absolute gentleman. As he was on my initial visit. I was mad at myself for not being more patient the first time. Michael Rosenberg was also a credit to the dealership. I learned this when I went in on an unscheduled visit and was treated by Mike as if I was HIS customer. I picked up my car today and could not be happier with my whole experience at Karp. What a Class Act they are. Reflecting back and thinking of the time I felt stolen from me, I can't help but recognize it wasn't a total loss. It gives me the opportunity to share my experience and hopefully keeps even one person from going to the wrong dealership!!!! Happy hunting too all out there that are looking for a KIA. More
Great experience, called a dozen Kia and Hyundai dealers looking for a nationally advertised lease deal on the Niro EV or Kona Electric during the early 2022 supply chain issues. Many dealers didn't actual looking for a nationally advertised lease deal on the Niro EV or Kona Electric during the early 2022 supply chain issues. Many dealers didn't actually have the cars advertised wouldn't entertain MSRP pricing and would not offer the corporate lease deals. Karp and Neil made things super easy and straight forward, no games very helpful, informative and transparent about the NYS EV rebate. Very satisfied and the Niro EV is great so far! More
