Disgusted In early July we purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Joyce Honda which I had paid for in full. When we picked up the vehicle, we were given In early July we purchased a certified pre-owned vehicle from Joyce Honda which I had paid for in full. When we picked up the vehicle, we were given temporary plates and registration and would wait for the permanent registration and title to come in from the DMV. As the expiration date on the temps drew near, we called the dealership to check the status of the title and registration. The dealership told us they were having a problem getting the title but they should have it within a week. We did not get the title within a week or a month! It took 4 months of back and forth with the dealership and we were told different stories every time we called. We were told by the dealership, “the previous owner had traded in the vehicle but it had not been paid off, so Honda paid it off but the bank had sent the title to the previous owner and not back to the dealership. Supposedly the previous owner could not find the title and had to sign papers to get a duplicate. It took her 4 weeks to get the papers signed and turned in to the DMV for a new title.” Then we were told, “the bank wouldn’t release the title because they said the lien had not been paid on the vehicle”…on and on and on. The manager who we were dealing with for about 2 months sent us a text that he suddenly resigned because he was sick of all the bull that goes on there. We then were dealing with the VP of the used car department, Tom Stark, from that point on. I finally got a call on Nov. 9th that the title was there. When I went to pick it up I had to pay the $69.50 DMV fee. I spoke to Tom Stark –VP, at the dealership and asked if Honda could pick up the DMV fee for all of our trouble. He was arrogant and accusatory and said, “No that is your responsibility to pay the DMV. Instead of being treated like a customer who was being inconvenienced, I was accused of being angry for no reason. During our conversation he said to me, “why are you so angry, what did you have to do about it?” Meaning, in his opinion, this should not have been an inconvenience to me in any way. The dealership was dealing with the headache. NOT TRUE…this was a major headache for me. I had to constantly make phone calls and I was worried and stressed that my daughter was driving a car without a title and God forbid she got in an accident and totaled the car…we have no proof of ownership and it would have been a total loss! During this time I did some research and found this on the NJ DMV Website, “Dealers are reminded that they're prohibited from trading in motor vehicles without valid titles”. At the end of the day after all the confusion and inconvenience that Joyce Honda put me through, you would think that they would at least be apologetic and maybe offer to waive the DMV fee instead of questioning my integrity and insulting me when all of this was their fault to begin with. Lesson learned – STEER CLEAR of Joyce Honda and never leave a dealership without a title! More

His manager then came over and we worked on a deal, I told him a needed a day to think about it,(this was a Saturday), I called on Monday morning to tell him that I accepted the deal, no answer, left a voice mail.no return call I called again around 6PM, I told Craig that I accepted the deal he offered. He said great that they would start working on finding the color I wanted and the switched me back to the sales person, Manny Paez. He assured me they would find the right car and would be in touch in a day or two.. I heard nothing and decided o check in a Wednesday evening, was told they were working on it and would be in touch by the end of the week, nothing. I called again Tuesday afternoon, Manny said they found the car, that he was off the next day but that they were picking up the car on Wednesday and some one would email the vin # on Wednesday. I told him that I wanted to pick up the car on Friday, he told me no problem. No one emailed or called me on Wednesday.. I called on Thursday, was told that some one was on their way to pick up the car as we spoke, which I was told it was being picked up on Wednesday. Received an email with vin # Thursday afternoon. Told Manny that I would be down to pick up the car around noon on Friday. Manny texted me and asked if I could come in around 11 AM because some one was coming in at noon, no problem. Got there around 11 on Friday asked for Manny, he came over and said hello and that Raniai ( I think ) would help us. She was very nice and personable. More

HE ALSO RECOMMEND ME SOME EXTRA PRODUCT TO PROTECT MY VEHICLE FOR NEXT 6 YEARS SO I NO NEED TO SPENT ANY MONEY ON IT. SO I INVEST TO PROTECT THE VEHICLE. I WISH THEM ALL GOOD LUCK. EVEN I AM A SERVICE CUSTOMER TO JOYCE FOR MORE THEN 10 YEARS. IN SERVICE DEPT,. THE SERVICE MANAGER AND ALL STAFFS ARE WELL EXPERIENCE PEOPLES. I HAVE ODYSSEY I DO SERVICE IN JOYCE FOR MORE THEN 10 YEARS I DO NOT HAVE ANY PROBLEM WITH THE VEHICLE UNTIL NOW. THEY TAKE CARE OF IT AND ADVICE ME TO DO UPDATE MY ODYSSEY.
