Went in to have my engine looked at due to some grinding noises on startup, which the mechanics attributed to needing an oil change. Tried to tell them that the grinding had been present prior to my last oi noises on startup, which the mechanics attributed to needing an oil change. Tried to tell them that the grinding had been present prior to my last oil change, but they said it was because Valvoline messed up the bolt for the oil pan. They charged me $100 for an oil change and a single bolt replacement and the noise continued right after I left. I bought my car from this dealership, but it’s beyond me why a dealership would want to charge a customer $100 for a basic oil change when I can get one anywhere else for $40-60, with the cherry on top being they didn’t even fix the grinding noise More
It was a good service . They did what they promised to do in a timely manner . The cost was somewhat more from what they originally said but overall very good experience. I want to acknowledge Reggie for his grace under pressure when I came in on a recent busy Monday morning. His shop was operating with a shortage of staff that day, and Mondays tend to be very busy. Since my rear view mirror came off, I had hoped that someone could look at it, so just drove into the shop. Reggie explained that it could be a while, but he would have it looked at. He also was able to arrange a ride home for me. Joseph VW was able to address my rear view mirror issue that day. I was very grateful for the technical service and customer service. Reggie has always provided excellent service in explaining what the car needed, explaining costs, and checking in with us while my car was in the shop. I appreciate Reggie and Joseph VW! More
They didn’t replace the engine vcover after an oil change and did not screw down the oil cap and oil sprayed on my engine .
