Best car buying experience I have ever had I just got my new Toyota Tacoma 2020 Army Green TRD Pro. I live in Miami Florida and I flew over 1000 miles to Cincinnati Ohio to purchase it from Joseph Toyota. You might say I was crazy but I saved over $5000. Here in Miami the dealers are like sharks. They have horrible customer service with the “take it or leave it” attitude. I called at least 10 Toyota dealers from 5 different states. They all jack up the MSRP on the truck. Joseph Toyota sales representative, Dr. Joe Schroeder, took my call. He was so polite and humble and gave me a super honest price. Not only did he pick me up at the airport, drive me to the dealership but after we did all the paper work he surprised me with a packed lunch for my trip back to Florida. What a breath of fresh air. The best vehicle buying experience I have ever had and I have bought many cars. You name it, from Ranger Rovers to Mercedes Benz to BMW. Dr. Joe is definitely a very special human being and I am glad I bought my new Tacoma from Joseph Toyota in Cincinnati Ohio. I had reached out to Sam on the phone to check on a specific vehicle and he put it on hold for me until we could get there. The overall experience was pleasant, Sam was incredibly busy, juggling multiple customers and their needs, but we never felt neglected or unimportant. He was a big part of why we purchased from Joseph Toyota. I would highly recommend this business and definitely recommend dealing with Sam. More
Not my first bad experience here Stopped in Monday with my car and told them I had been getting an alert to come in for service. I also asked where their collision center was to get an estimate. Arrived at my 730 AM apt today and they told me they can’t fix my car until I have my bumper fixed. This is for my parking brake and the alarm started going off two weeks prior to someone rear-ending my car. Complete waiste of my morning— I should have been told this Monday while I was in their service center with my car. Toyota does not have the same high standards for their service teams. More

We asked the sales group to help answer a few questions about the nav and communications systems because they are new to us. They declined to help because we didn’t purchase the car from them. On one level I understand this. On the other hand we are here as customers and they seem to have time on their hands so it seems like poor customer relations. More

service I have bought my new vehicles from the Joseph family for the past 18 years. I purchased my Toyota RAV 4 on Feb. 14 2015, which replaced my 2012 RAV. I have bought my new vehicles from the Joseph family for the past 18 years. I purchased my Toyota RAV 4 on Feb. 14 2015, which replaced my 2012 RAV. I have been a very loyal customer, having all my body work, repair work, and maintenance completed in your body shop and service department. When my actuator went out on my vehicles driver side, on 8-7-2017, service replaced body ECU. Problem fixed until the passenger side actuator went out. At this time I was informed by Chris Curtis that I would be responsible for the repair because I had an aftermarket remote start installed on my vehicle, recommended by your service department, however I was still under the 36000 mile warranty. He told me that as long as the remote start was on my vehicle that they would not fix it with warranty. That it would have to be removed. So, I had the company come out and remove the remote start. I called Chris Curtis and informed him that it had been removed and he said I’d still be responsible because it had been installed on the vehicle. I called another Toyota dealer and they were happy to replace the actuator for me, under my warranty. They had no problem with an aftermarket remote being installed, they explained to me that it was still warranty work, unless it would turn out to be something covered by insurance. I find it hard to believe that your service manager treated me this way. I must say that the rest of the service people have always treated me very well. But because of Chris Curtis I will have my service completed somewhere else and will buy my next Toyota elsewhere also. Thank you for taking the time to read this. Got 2017 Prius 4 at very good price In December 2016, I decided on a 2017 Prius 4 over a 2017 Camry Hybrid after extensively test-driving each. I had sought out the Internet Sales Team b In December 2016, I decided on a 2017 Prius 4 over a 2017 Camry Hybrid after extensively test-driving each. I had sought out the Internet Sales Team before doing any negotiation, which I despise. At home, with Consumer Reports Car Buying Guide in hand and the online tool describing the differences in the Prius 1 through Prius 4 (Touring vs. non-touring in each) and giving prices on options, I made spreadsheet or two and did some what-ifs. I decided on what I wanted that would not exceed my budget. The Prius 4 Touring, if equipped as I wanted, would have cost a couple thousand more than the non-touring, so I chose it. I made a copy of what I wanted and what I thought was a good offer and then emailed one of the Internet Sales guys what I wanted but not what I'd pay. Within a reasonable time, he came back with a price that required no negotiation. Consumer Reports confirmed it was a very good deal. Dang. Easy. I just wish I'd've spent the extra bucks and got the Touring version so I'd get a spare tire. "How often have I ever gotten a flat?" I asked myself. Took 13 months to get one in the new Prius. I bought a Corolla at Joseph in 1991. It wasn't a Prius, but it was reliable transportation for 12 years. So my Prius purchase was a return visit. I bought a Corona at another local dealer in 1979. I visited that dealer before buying my 2006 Prius and was very disappointed and so went to Joseph, where I was happy and only needed moderate negotiation to get a good price. I visited the same dealer in 2017 and found responsiveness from their Internet Sales Team unacceptable so I went to Joseph and received what seems today, reviewing emails, to have been constant responsiveness. If I outlive my 2017 Prius (I'm almost 72) and need another vehicle, I'll certainly start with Joseph. I don't know exactly what it is, but Joseph is--for me--head and shoulders above the other dealer. More
