I want to reiterate how professional, personable, and loyal this crew is. I worked with four people in particular, and I would like to personally thank them for such an easygoing and considerate experience. My gratitude goes to Jake Boyce, Darrion Underwood, Matt Bishop, and Arriana Ballard. Arriana was the representative who answered the phone and scheduled my second “test drive.” She also got me back in touch with Jake who was my original Product Specialists when I bought my Toyota Tacoma. Arriana continued to stay in touch with me throughout my second visit. She was also very polite and quick to respond. Having the opportunity to work with the same Product Specialist is a dealmaker for me, and it helps relieve the overall anxieties of shopping for a car. As I mentioned earlier, Jake was awesome! He is a very funny, knowledgeable, and personable representative for Johnson Subaru of Cary. He is passionate about his work, and it shows. He went above and beyond to show me the vehicle, answer my questions, and help me out. Even though I wasn’t shopping for myself, they were willing to work with me. Darrion Underwood is the finance manager and a pleasure to work with as well. He is so kind, reasonable, considerate, and very professional in how he handles “the deal” and the closing. He answered every question we had knowledgeably. When I bought my truck, I asked about warranties and he was prepared to give me all of my options without trying to push anything on me. Matt Bishop was the finance manager that we worked with for the second vehicle. He was a pleasure to work with, as well. He was funny and informative, also very personable, but also not too pushy when it came to warranties. I have a lot of respect there. Not everyone has the financial ability to buy a vehicle and pay for those warranties, so Matt’s approach helps keep those people at ease in saying no. I have had two great experiences and two quality vehicle’s purchased, one for me and one for a friend. I have to give more credit and say that all of the employees are kind and very welcoming. The facility itself is very clean and pleasant and the refreshment area is very clean and has lots of options for those who are waiting, too. The overall thoughtfulness of the dealership is genuine. Mr. Johnson should be very proud of this crew because they are representing and making things happen. I will definitely recommend this particular dealership to those I know who are looking for a great experience and good quality vehicles. More

Had a fantastic experience from the moment I arrived to the minute I left. I worked with Mark Demsko at Johnson Subaru of Cary and he made sure I left with a brand new car and fought for me to be where I w the minute I left. My wife takes her car in for service because that is something she wants to do. Pretty simple service. Oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. For whatever reason my wife was charged more tha something she wants to do. Pretty simple service. Oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. For whatever reason my wife was charged more than double what the state inspection would cost somewhere else. It's one of those things that I guess they charge it because they can. They left off a couple tire valve caps when they put air in the tires. Don't ever try and email the dealership off their website. You end up with multiple text and phone calls from their sales people when your issue was with service. More

My sales person Kevin Hinkle is beyond amazing Every time I go in, everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. Now comes to my visit yesterday 2/22/22. My sales person Kevin Hinkle is beyond amazing!!! I was originally in a 2019 Subaru Forester Sport. With my lease ending soon, Kevin got in contact with me. I love my Forester Sport SOOOO much, that I wanted the EXACT same car. Color, package, the works. Not only did Kevin find the EXACT Forester I wanted, he was completely honest and up front on how long it would take to get my new one. With this being my first time turning in a lease and getting into a new one, I had a million and five questions. Kevin always took the time to actually LISTEN to my questions and concerns, he answered all of them completely and fully to my understanding. I never for one second felt rushed, or like he had more important things to be doing at that time. When interacting with Kevin, it is like you are the only person in the dealership at that time. I absolutely LOVE my 2022 Forester Sport, and I owe it all to Kevin for making it all come together. I tell everyone who tells me they are looking into getting a Subaru to go see Kevin Hinkle at Johnson Subaru in Cary!! It was an absolute pleasure working with Kevin, and I cannot wait to do it again. More
Have loved my Ascent- huge moonroof, AWD, wi-fi enabled, & $6k less than other comparable suvs! I knew exactly what I was offered, & in this shaky car market I was told exactly what is available and my options for ordering a car as well. I appreciate you don’t have to haggle here; they give you their best offer right up front, no pressure. Jamie H went out of his way to get me info, even when out of the office. I highly recommend this Subaru for great service! Their beautiful new building is very easy for bringing your car in for maintenance as well. Well-run business! More

I changed my mind and just wanted to stick with the car I originally thought of and i informed them when the car is ready hit me up , so I was told that the car had to go back they had to adjust the price ..and they would not offer me $100 for my car my car, it is in bad shape yes but you know it got me there and back , they never called me and the carwas taken off oline didn't return any more of my emails, I'll find a car but it won't be with them, you know that feeling when someone looks down on you like your wasting there time . well thats i i felt , hurt my feeling really , it took alot for me to ask for there help in the first place . thank you . billy More
No pressure sales! Kevin Hickle is the guy to work with to buy your next Subaru. He’s very knowledgeable with the brand, models, specs, trim levels, & options packages. Even when we switched several times between models, colors, & trim levels ! He can give approximate cost & spec differences off the cuff. Impressive! After researching & test driving with 5 manufacturers (Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Volvo, & Audi) between 12 dealerships. He was the most knowledgeable about the product and even knew the competition specifications. We ended up buying 2 SUVs (2021 Forester & 2022 Ascent) from Kevin due to excellent customer service & expertise. Most dealer sales reps don’t even know the manufacturer they represent, nor options & trim levels. When we took delivery he spent another hour (or more) walking us through any detail and question about the vehicle. Kevin Hickle will be our next car sales representative. More
