We drove three Tucsons that we did not like due to a vibration during driving or rough handling. Then we spotted the Kona, which we knew very little about. We drove one and loved it. The handling, ride, and looks won us over and we decided to buy it. I have enjoyed every second of driving this car ever since, and it gets great mileage, too... 32 MPG average so far, with regular gas. I commend Ryan for his friendliness and efforts to help us find a car we would like. Thanks for introducing us to the Kona. I do believe it's my favorite car, ever...! More

Frank (the manager) made sure we were taken care of when there was a delay in finding the car, and Josh was quick with my financing paperwork. No response to multiple calls and emails. I had leased an SUV and decided to buy it at lease end. While there, I got talked into buying the Protective Asset Plan. When I got home, I googled it and found out that it wasn’t worth it so I called the next day to cancel. After calling and leaving multiple messages and emails with Kris Wilkins, I left a message with the general manager. He didn’t respond either! FOUR MONTHS later, it took me showing up there to finally get it taken care of. Laura Thompson, the accounting manager, couldn’t believe it had taken so long and immediately canceled it and got the refund to me. Unbelievably poor customer service. This was the second vehicle I bought at Johnson Hyundai and it will definitely be my last. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. More
Excellent! I'm 66 years old and have bought a good many cars in my time. After researching online both Subaru (current owner) and Honda (previous owner) small SU I'm 66 years old and have bought a good many cars in my time. After researching online both Subaru (current owner) and Honda (previous owner) small SUVs, I discovered the Hyundai Kona had overall better ratings. So I began looking for my new car at Johnson Hyundai of Cary simply because I am new to the area and the dealership is just a few miles from home. I went in on a Sunday afternoon to shop for a specific Kona that I "thought" I wanted. Joe Germany was very pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful with no pressure. He gave me all the info needed to change my mind about the color Kona I thought I wanted. Then he went to work trying to find my desired car only to discover the closest one was in Maine. With Joe's knowledgeable help, the next day I modified my desired Kona again only to discover it was there on the lot all the time. Within just a few hours I was happily driving my new Hyundai Kona home. The fact that I purchased a less expensive Kona than originally desired did nothing to diminish Joe's or other staff members' efforts to meet my needs. Thanks Joe Germany and other staff at Johnson Hyundai of Cary for no pressure, no baloney--just great service getting my into a reliable, attractive new car. More
