Superb Experience From Beginning To End! My wife and I were at the Auto Park in Cary with the intention of getting into a lease on a 2016 Hyundai Sonata. Because of an accident that totaled My wife and I were at the Auto Park in Cary with the intention of getting into a lease on a 2016 Hyundai Sonata. Because of an accident that totaled a previous auto, I was in the unenviable position of having a significant amount of negative equity in the auto I was trading. When I entered the dealership, I had specific goals I wanted to accomplish, and if I couldn't realize those goals, I was prepared to keep the auto I was attempting to trade and drive it 'til the wheels fell off. In a "former life," I sold cars and am well aware of the pressure buyers feel as they trust the dealership to come up with that great deal. But with Johnson Hyundai, I got the sense that, though they really wanted us to buy a car, they also wanted us to be comfortable during the process and in the selection made. There was no pressure to just get me into a car. In fact, they were willing to slow walk the process, answer any question I had and provide any information I needed to make an informed decision. I left the dealership with a new 2016 Hyundai Sonata because Johnson Hyundai helped me accomplish the two primary goals I had set before entering the dealership, and I can enthusiastically recommend Johnson Hyundai to anyone who is interested in a new Hyundai. But the real kudos goes to our sales consultant Ivan Elhag. Working in sales, I realize that the most important characteristic any salesperson must possess is a willingness to be of service. That comes first, and with Ivan, it was clear that while he comes to work every day with the intention of creating income for him and his family, he is primarily concerned with the level of service he provides to his customers. I have no idea how much money Ivan or the dealership made from my purchase, and frankly, I don't care because I came away with a smile on my face and the feeling that I had been treated not as a car buying customer but as a valued client. More

He is an expert in customer service which at the end of my long day, went much further than what he shared about the car. Although, it was very informative just the same. Everyone in the dealership was warm, friendly and seemed like they didn't mind being there on a Saturday afternoon. Seeing Ivan's award on his desk was quite impressive. In for an oil change, out with a brand new car! Ivan was great. I honestly took my vehicle in for routine maintenance, and left with two new vehicles! My fiancé who was with me was so impressed with Ivan was great. I honestly took my vehicle in for routine maintenance, and left with two new vehicles! My fiancé who was with me was so impressed with Ivan that he leased a new car that day too! Ivan had answers to all of my questions, and I was impressed that he and his family stood behind the product so much that they all drive Hyundais also! We went on multiple test drives, and searched in the rain for the vehicle I was looking for. I decided on leasing a new Tucson and I love it. I would absolutely recommend anyone looking for a new car to work with Ivan. More
Great place to buy a great car! The wife's 2008 CRV was totaled when a car took a left turn across oncoming traffic (that was us). Now I don't just go to a dealer and buy a car... The wife's 2008 CRV was totaled when a car took a left turn across oncoming traffic (that was us). Now I don't just go to a dealer and buy a car... I research on-line looking for comparable makes and models. Then I go quick looking at those makes and models at the various dealerships. Now there is some contrast in the dealerships... It can go from being completely ignored to being pounced on. Having been through the trauma of an accident, dealing with the insurance settlement, job stress, sickness in the family,... the last thing I needed was the hassle of buying a car. Decided on a Hyundai Tucson after the research and quick look at the dealerships. Now came the hard part: dealing with the hassle of selecting the car, working out a price and getting it done. At Johnson Hyundai it went smooth from the start. Worked through the vehicle selection, options and pricing. Ivan Elhag went at my pace, worked out the discounts, pricing and no long waits with talking to the sales manager and back and forth, I told him straight up I didn't care for the sales dance. Johnny Barbaro, the sales manager, came out to speak to us and make the deal. No problem when we wanted to sleep on it and finish Saturday. I signed a release for a credit check and left a deposit to hold the car for three days. No problem, no delays, just okay we understand. Saturday the car and everything was ready and waiting for us. There was an optional cargo liner I mentioned would be nice. The usual long finance piece went by in a third of the time expected with the finance director, James Edmonson, taking care of us himself. And surprise, a cargo liner with a "Happy Valentines' Day" from Ivan and Johnny... couldn't believe that! And the price according to on-line resources... throw in a free cargo liner and we got a very good deal! Now, I took sometime to write this because Ivan, Johnny and James made my day a good one today. Exceptional service, exceptional people and a happy wife. Thank you guys! More
