I purchased a new Chevy Equinox EV in December 2025 and had a great experience working with salesperson Cody Hills and Manager Derek on day one. We agreed on the pricing, and I left the dealership fully satisfied with the process. Before referring a friend, I confirmed with Cody that the dealership offers a $100 referral bonus. My friend proceeded with their purchase the following day, working with Cody as well, who assured me that I was marked as the referral on their application. On January 4th, Cody informed me that the referral check would be mailed the next day. However, it has now been over a month, and I have yet to receive the check or any further updates. I have reached out to Cody multiple times but have not received any response. I also attempted to contact the dealership manager via phone and email, but unfortunately, I have not heard back. This lack of follow-up is disappointing and raises concerns about the dealership's commitment to customer satisfaction beyond the initial sale. I would appreciate an update on the status of the referral bonus at your earliest convenience. Prompt communication and resolution of this matter would go a long way in reinforcing trust and confidence in your dealership’s customer service. More

The dealership should tell the customer more about the vehicle being tested on the road. All the features the vehicle have and do not have. I bought a car that they did the minimum service on. I knew that the AC needed charging and didn't mind if it was added to the price of the car. The front tires have punctures on the sides and they didn't say if they checked the coolant. I have bought a car from John Thornton before so this is why I came back....... big mistake. No even contacted me from my calls to get service that I am willing to pay for. I know the car was bought"as is" but I expected better from John Thornton. I can't recommend anyone to purchase from John Thornton because I'm not satisfied with my purchase and no one seems to care.
