I had an outstanding experience with Derek at John Thornton Chevrolet! From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming and attentive. The entire process was smooth and enjoyable without any pressure. I brought my Camaro in for routine service (oil change and filter) after setting up an appointment earlier with Donna Haan. My service advisor, Chuck Yearta, understood the peculiarities of my Camaro mod and filter) after setting up an appointment earlier with Donna Haan. My service advisor, Chuck Yearta, understood the peculiarities of my Camaro model (a ZL1), and the service was completed quickly. While waiting, I talked with Jarod Powell about bringing in my Tahoe for a set of tires and taking care of a couple recall items as well as getting its oil changed when I brought it in. Both Donna and Jarod have helped me with problems, sometimes with very short notice, in in the past, and, as a customer since 2005, it's nice to see familiar faces who know me when I come in. It's unusual to see long-time dealership employees in the Atlanta market and is a testament that John Thornton Chevrolet is doing things right. Even my service advisor, Chuck, while relatively new in that roll, was a 20+ year employee. More

The dealership's sakes and service department are terrible. I was lied to, facts were omitted about things wrong with the vehicle and services that were said to have been done, weren't. terrible. Matthew was very knowledgable and professional when it came to handling my vehicle's issues. Kudos to Matthew! My vehicle was supposed to get the tires rotated as that came with the oil change. I did n came to handling my vehicle's issues. Kudos to Matthew! My vehicle was supposed to get the tires rotated as that came with the oil change. I did not appreciate the fact that the dealership wanted to charge me over $200.00 to rotate the tires due to the lug nuts on the tires being swollen. I was told that the lug nuts have a plastic coating them and that coating absorbs moisture, therefore they swell and are hard to get off! Why is that my problem when the dealership knows that is an issue. Sounds like a defective part issue that I shouldn't be responsible for. I have a 2014 Chevy Impala with only 68000 miles on it and it's been garage kept. We paid alot of money for this vehicle as it's a loaded LT1. I have a hard time accepting the cost to fix the issue is on me, when it should be the dealership that is responsible for it, as I feel it's a defective part issue. I've been driving for over 50 years and never had a problem with the lug nuts on any of the vehicles I drove. More
