We had an amazing experience at Tappers and Tony was great,patient,and very understanding. He went above and beyond to meet are needs and requests!!!! We finally decided what we wanted and Tony found it for us and the car we bought is exactly what he said it would be--it is an awsome beautifull 2012 Equinox ,LT2 loaded and with the 18in. Chrome wheels,which I had to have:) Since Marcia was on vacation, Kyle closed the deal for us and did a great job-very fiendly-If anyone is out looking for a New or Used car, I would reccomend that you stop at Tappers first--you wont want to continue your search. Thank You all!!!!! More
I placed a inquiry on another web site that was supposed to send an email to local dealers. Kyle was the first to respond and was the only one to listen to what I wanted. I went to tapper and met with Kyle he was very friendly and helpful. He told us about the features available on the car, but didn't push them on us like most salespeople. I wanted a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze ls in blue. He didn't have one on the lot but found one for me in less than a day. Tappaer ate the cost of getting it to there dealership and sold me the car a little under MSRP. Kyle is the best car salesman I have ever worked with and I will definately be going back in the future. More
Our salesperson Gary went above and beyond to get my wife and I the car we wanted for the right price. In Sept of 2011, we were looking for a Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix but originally stopped at Tapper t and I the car we wanted for the right price. In Sept of 2011, we were looking for a Pontiac Vibe or Toyota Matrix but originally stopped at Tapper to check out a Dodge Caliber. This was the only dealership we stopped at that did not have a Vibe or Matrix in stock. After driving the Caliber, we knew it wasn't for us, but Gary asked for what we wanted and told us he would let us know if they found one at auction. Gary checked in with me once during the next week to let us know his progress. We found a Vibe in Battle Creek we thought we wanted at another dealer and Gary happened to call right before we left to make an offer on that car. He had a Vibe coming in on Monday if we were interested. I told him it was too late but I would call him if the deal fell through. Well, the deal did fall through, and I called Gary to let him know we were interested in the car Tapper was bringing in. I knew he would be giving us a good price since he said he would beat the deal they had on the other Vibe. We checked out the Vibe at Tapper on Tuesday and really liked it. I came in that Thursday and worked with Gary to come up with a price that was very fair on the car. I would have liked to have gotten more on my trade-in, but that was my choice to accept their offer, so I can't blame that on them. Working with Gary was a real pleasure. I stopped at a lot of dealers and Gary was the only one that followed up with me and worked with me to get what I wanted. I worked in sales for a while, and that is what a salesperson is supposed to do...work FOR you, not against you. I appriciated his "old school" approach of using the phone and not relying on impersonal e-mails. Could have I found a cheaper price out there? Maybe, but maybe not. However if I did pay a little more, it was worthwhile for the personal service you get at a small town dealer like John Tapper in Paw Paw. More

My wife and I went in to Tapper to buy our second GM vehicle from them in the last 2 years. We had worked with Kyle two years ago and had the pleasure of working with him again on this purchase experie vehicle from them in the last 2 years. Kyle did a fabulous job in finding us exactly the vehicle we were looking for and we were able to take delivery very quickly. Kyle and the entire staff were very professional and an absolute pleasure to do business with. In addition to the fabulous treatment that we received from Kyle, the Business Manager Terry made us feel very welcome and stopped by to check on us. Also the Finance Manager Marcia was extremely courteous and efficient in finalizing our transaction. It is a combination of the relaxed atmosphere with the professional efficient manner in which Kyle and the entire staff performs that make this the only dealer that I will continue to do business with in the future. More
The salesman was very friendly and informative. He met us in the parking lot even though it was raining. Kyle was very easy to work with and made the selection of my new GMC Terrain fun. I began looking at the Acadias and quickly found that I didn't want to spend that much money. I then began comparing, with K my new GMC Terrain fun. I began looking at the Acadias and quickly found that I didn't want to spend that much money. I then began comparing, with Kyle's help, the Equinox and the Terrain and decided on the Terrain. Tappers didn't have the exact car I wanted and Kyle searched and found the exact car. I felt he was fair as far as the price, friendly, and would highly recommend him to my friends. And....I LOVE my new Terrain!! More
This experience was the best i've had buying a vehicle. What made it the best was the Salesman, Kyle Vanderbeek. Usually, salespeople are very pushy and dishonest. Alan explained to me my options with great clarity and displayed thorough knowledge of Tapper's fleet. Marcia made the financing of my vehicle a simple and easy process. Both the leasing and, further down the line, purchase of my vehicle, was a completely streamlined and painless process. My vehicle has also been serviced at this dealership multiple times from a simple LOF to warranty work. Never has there been any shady "need to replace X obscure part" when all I wanted was my brakes checked out. Service with integrity! More
