Good overall experience. My only complaint is the multi point inspection indicated the tire pressure was checked. IF YOU VALUE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE. I have never gone out of my way to submit a review for anything online, but this is the exception. On Thursday 9/7/23, my wife took our ELSEWHERE. I have never gone out of my way to submit a review for anything online, but this is the exception. On Thursday 9/7/23, my wife took our vehicle for an oil change, a couple days later the auto start/stop warning light came on. This vehicle is less than 3 years old and has not had any issues until I got the service recently. I returned to the service center, to explain the issue. I asked the service rep if they could check it out. She went inside to a service tech and he told her there’s nothing that they would do to mess with any sensors(which is a lie, you literally went into the engine compartment) then I was told they can’t check it out today, that I can make an appointment in 3-4 weeks to have an $90 hours diagnostic done and that their labor runs at $170 and did to include the replacement parts if needed. Then I explained that we had issues with their services before after a simple air filter change. Their service tech did not properly seat the cover back on that caused resistance in the engine. My wife and I had to take time away from work to solve an issue that was at the fault of John Hiester’s incompetent service technicians. The funny part after I left, I went to O’rielly’s Auto Parts next door and the service clerk ran a diagnostic for free in less than 5 minutes. He found the fault and I am currently looking for an alternative solution to fix my vehicle’s problem now. Bottom line I gave them a chance to check a simple sensor. You want to cost me money so I’ll make an effort to return the favor. For any potential future customers in the local area, if you value your time and hard earned money, GO ELSEWHERE. You know the long reviews are the ones that matter. It can be you dealing with this. For the John Hiester of Lillinton team representative, you can keep your generic response to this review, and I hope John Hiester reads this also in addition to the survey your company sent me. Your responses with customer issues are clearly to cover whatever reputation you have, which is baffling to me. I would not be surprised you use 3rd party marketing to help with your ratings. If you really cared about customers you would practice initiative and reach out to them instead of telling them to contact you. You have their contact information from this site, you should reach out to them not the other way around. Your service techs are poorly trained and incompetent and you can tell the lack of work ethic they have when servicing vehicles. It’s also noted that you sent an email customers not too long ago because you have had past issues with your service department and switched out service managers. Seems like nothing has changed. More

I arrived on the lot and was greeted by Rodney Elder. He is a very friendly and professional person. He was not pushy but was very helpful. He made suggestions but listened to what my wants were.
