Called twice to ensure the truck was there at the dealership before I drove 1hr from my home, set a appointment at 930 mon with Thomas to show me this truck. Thomas never showed and I waited at the dealership until after 11am no one could find the truck, and no Thomas . I stayed in the area all day of this dealership, with the promise from Jake that some one would call me back about this truck. They never called back!! I called them back twice and received the run around of bs and broken promises about them calling me back about the truck ! I had the cash in hand ready to buy. Sad loss for them and there poor professionalism. More

Don't expect them to Ben honest. Still have not received pay **************Updates on situation- November 8th - Received a phone call from Josh the GM of John elway Chevrolet. He apologised profusely, admitted **************Updates on situation- November 8th - Received a phone call from Josh the GM of John elway Chevrolet. He apologised profusely, admitted that they didn't send in my paper work for 6 days after our meeting and apologised for his team lying. Didn't offer anything but did admit that his staff messed up and lied to me. So they have admitted to not sending anything in on the 21st but rather the 27th. November 10th - 20 days after taking my car in they still have not payed me the check for the remainder. This is awful. Contacted the BBB and state attorneys office. ******************** Here is the actual timeline of how this event has taken place. Just so you can see that John Elway Chevrolet would like to lie instead of help. This is for the false response they wrote below. Oct 21st - Bring Jeep to Dealership. Told by Savannah "Before we finalize a purchase it needs to be inspected, I will try to have it inspected today if not monday" The inspection was done on Tuesday Oct 24th. If the inspection had not been done til Tuesday the 24th. Oct 24th - Savannah Txt to inform me my car passed inspection and they will be sending off the paperwork filled out on the 21st. Oct 25th - Called by Savannah to Let me know my check was waiting. Show up to J.E.C to be handed a check for the incorrect amount. They had not sent in any paperwork, they hadn't received my title, they had not even finished the paperwork on their end.... But they cut me a check for the full amount (Not the paid off lien and then just the overage) so I expressed concern. Savannah blamed Sarah in Accounts payable saying shes new and not very good at her job. I was understanding, mistakes happen. Later that afternoon I received a Txt message from Savannah saying my paperwork was sent in that day, Weds the 25th. Not the 21st. Oct 26th - Savannah Calls me to ask if I had the correct pay off amount for my loan. I said of course then asked why she was asking me this now since she assured me my paperwork was overnighted the day before. She again blamed Sarah, told me not to worry about calling my bank because she trusted me it was correct. Couldn't explain why the paperwork hadn't been sent in like she had told me the day before. She also told me to call my bank and that they would expidite it and this would go faster. bank does not do that. Oct - 31st - I contacted my bank. They have no record or calls about my payoff from Johns elway cheverolet. They haven't recieved anything and inform me I am being charged each day its not in. I contact Savannah. She begins to tell me that she has no power to help. Once it's out of her hands it has nothing to do with her and that she gave it to Sarah to send out on weds. She again tells me to just call my bank and they'll expedite. Again, banks do not do that. She also claimed "It's not in my hands anymore, I don't control the mail..." Nov 1st - Txt Savannah to ask for updates, no response back from her. November 3rd. - I contact my bank. I am told they finally received the payment from J.E.C. and closed out my loan. This is 7 days after I was told the payoff was sent in. They said they would be sending it back and J.E.C. would be receiving the title. I called J.E.C. and talked to Sarah. She blamed Savannah for the mistakes and took zero responsibility. She informed me it would take 5-7 more days to get a check. I talked to Josh. He was extremely rude and told me he was not going to help, that I have no choice but to wait 5-7 days for my check. Josh was rude, did not have issue with his employees lying or their unprofessionalism. He hung up on me cause he said "You just want to hear yourself talk so I am ending this call" Still no payment andthis point who knows. DO NOT go to John Elway Chevrolet. All I wanted was what was agreed upon, not to have my time wasted and not to get lied too. If you deal with Josh (GM) Savannah (Appraisal) or Sarah (Account payable) plan on complications the whole way. It is Nov 4th and still do not have any check, a message from J.E.C or the payment they were supposed to get me. They say I knew that I wouldn't receive payment until they had my title, then why did they try to give me a check already. Do not believe anything they say. I will keep you posted when I finally get my check. If you are taken advantage of by John Elway, just like me, here is some things you can do. Contact the Better Business bureau to file a claim. Then contact the state attorney generals office and inform them of your situation and file a claim. It’s unfourtunate to go this route. But when you’rr lied too and losing money due to used car slaesmen you have no choice. I will update when I have more. All I want is my check like I was promised. Read what they wrote and make sure you go somewhere else. More
