I told Bryan Burford about my experience, and he helped me get the very same car that I'd been looking for at the other dealership. Not only that, he beat their prices in every way. Consequently, my brother and I both bought cars from John Elway Chevrolet! Great customer service, honesty, and attention to detail sold two cars for them. BAIT AND SWITCH… This couldn’t be a more classic example. I requested several offers from dealerships to purchase our car from us through cars.com. All of the offers w This couldn’t be a more classic example. I requested several offers from dealerships to purchase our car from us through cars.com. All of the offers were around the same price except for the offer from John Elway Chevrolet. Their offer was the highest so I contacted them to set up an appraisal. I show up, Annie takes me back to her desk and takes down all the information I had ALREADY provided when requesting offers. Annie asks how much the offer was they sent to us and what I was hoping to get for the car. She pulls up the NEW offer in their system, nowhere near what they had sent us. In fact, several thousand below what they had sent. I can already see where this is going… Annie says she is going to go talk with her manager to see what he says. They go look at the car and come back. Same offer as what was on her computer. I said this was ridiculous because it was nowhere close to the original offer that got us in the door. Nothing had changed from when I had submitted the offers online. Not the condition, the mileage, the features etc. Their NEW offer was smack in the middle of the other dealerships, which was fine. What was SHADY was that they threw out an offer that was high just to get me to drive over to have them look at it. I wasted over an hour because of their deceptive practices. Be careful dealing with these folks I can only imagine what they would try to pull if we were purchasing a car from them. We’ll take our business elsewhere in the future. More
