Quite an experience I live 45 minutes away, so I made an appointment at 10:00am to have my airbag light and front end looked at and was told on the phone I could drop it I live 45 minutes away, so I made an appointment at 10:00am to have my airbag light and front end looked at and was told on the phone I could drop it off before 10:00 if I could make it, so I dropped it off at 9:15. They told me that they didn’t have any cars to loan out because they were all loaned out and they couldn’t get me a car from Enterprise because they were also all out of vehicles?!! At 4:00 when I asked how much longer it would be, they told me, my car was NEVER even looked at. So, I wasted my entire day off work sitting and waiting, only for them to tell me to go ahead and take my car home and we would do it another day. They did come pick my car up and got me a rental car from Enterprise two days later. I went several days without hearing from them, then 8 days later I received a call letting me know, my airbag light/front end was fixed. It was a long drawn out ordeal and I would not recommend this dealership to anyone. If they would have been upfront at the beginning and would have told me on the phone to bring another vehicle or that they would have my car for numerous days, this would be a better review. As far as Enterprise, Patrick at the Enterprise in Eldon was fantastic to work with, and I look forward to doing business with Eldon Enterprise and Lloyd Belt in Eldon, in the future! More

Mike Rogers attitude closed the deal! A few months ago I test drove a Ford F150 2X4 and after keeping it for the weekend and some negative input from a couple friends I decided to look for A few months ago I test drove a Ford F150 2X4 and after keeping it for the weekend and some negative input from a couple friends I decided to look for a 4X4 instead. I'm sure Mike thought this was a done deal, but unfortunatetly it wasn't. Brought the truck back to the dealership and told him I decided to wait for a while. He actually kept a good attitude and said "okay, maybe next time." After a couple months of scanning every web site possible, one popped up that caught my attention right here in Jeff City. I was at Joe Machens dealership early the next morning, and with my luck Mike was in his office and set me up with dealer tags and the keys and tells me to keep it over night and come by in the morning and we will put some numbers together. This was on a Monday and after a week of 95+ degree tempertures and being in the HVAC business, needless to stay I wasn't there the next morning or the next several days. The down fall of this truck was the chrome package that I absolutely despised. With the truck in my driveway over a period of time it actually started to grow on me and I had a change of mind. With Mike under going some health issues and my busy schedule we were finally were able to sit and go over some numbers we both agreed upon towards the purchase. I've been driving Ford trucks for the past 40 years and have always been a strong believer in buying local. My Father used to do business with this same location and Bernie Schanzmeyer would tell him to go out on the lot, find the one you want, come in and grab the keys and come back when you are ready to more forward. With that being said, and the liability issues with this kind of sales approach, it is hard to believe that any dealer in any state would give someone that option. My hat goes off the Mike Rogers and Joe Machen's Ford for the "old school attitude" that I've experienced with this purchase. Needless to say, this dealership and this location has always been my first choice to purchase a vehicle and I've never had to look any further. A special thanks to everyone at Joe Machen's Ford, and especially Mike for making buying a vehicle as easy as it was when I walked in the door at Schanzmeyer Ford with my Dad years ago. After owning the truck for a couple of weeks now, I absolutely couldn't be happier. I also would like to thank Matt Wilde for selling me the piece of mind of the extended warranty that I 100% was not in the market for when I sat down in his office to finalize the paperwork.
