Who did the inspection? Long story short, they skimped on performing general maintenance on the used car I bought before selling it to me. Couple of DAYS after buying the Long story short, they skimped on performing general maintenance on the used car I bought before selling it to me. Couple of DAYS after buying the used car I started having problems with the rear view camera and MyLincoln Touch. They ended up fixing it so I’m happy with that but after looking how many miles the dealership put on the car while they had it, there is no way they weren’t already aware of the issue. After a couple weeks of owning the car I started to check to see what maintenance they did before selling it. Here is a few things they didn’t do in their “120 point inspection”; -Not change the engine air filter. Not only was it not changed it was way past needing to be changed. It was turning black. This is probably the easiest and least expensive thing anyone could do before selling a car. -Not change the cabin air filter. This was grossly dirty as well. Again not costly or expensive for them to do this before selling. -The transmission fluid was black and wasn’t changed and probably never changed. (This fluid should not be black). More
