DO NOT buy a car from Jim Trenary O’Fallon!!!!! John from the used car lot thought I was joking when I told him I was only willing to pay what I was willing to pay. We didn’t find that out until 3 hours late the used car lot thought I was joking when I told him I was only willing to pay what I was willing to pay. We didn’t find that out until 3 hours later though (all part of their plan) when I asked the finance manager exactly how much money she was trying to finance. She told me (full price plus the $199 admin fee that I told him I was absolutely not paying). About a half an hour later after beating my head against the wall with John, the finance manager informed us that she was going to speak with her boss (Justin) and get back with us on Monday. Guess what... that call never came!!!!! I’m guessing it was a ploy just to get us out of the store as I was getting a little loud due to being incredibly frustrated for having wasted over 3 hours of my life trying to be scammed!!!! This place is TRASH!!!! I will never buy a vehicle from them and neither should you!!!!! More

Unethical and illegal Bought my information from Lending Tree and would not stop hounding me to come in and meet with them once a day for three weeks. Then Used an advertised priced with hidden restrictions. Gave vehicle a safety inspection and passed it yet ball joints were bad and they wouldn’t do anything until I said I would push for legal action. Beware of the crooked dealership, I will never use them again!!! More

Went to the license office on 5/17/2019 and Never buy from this dealership. Bought a used car from this dealership on 5/15/2019 of which I paid cash. Went to the license office on 5/17/2019 and tried to get car licensed as I thought I had everything I needed. They told me I could not get car tags without a car title. Immediately called the dealership and they said it is being processed by the "girls upstairs". Now, I have a car that I cannot get licensed. They never did tell me when I would receive the car title, just that it would be delivered by fedex when the "girls upstairs: get finished. This is no doubt a scam operation that I fell into. Notified Attorney General, have not heard back yet. More

Her introduction was "bear with me, I am still hungover from the Christmas party the other night at Tully's". So quick to sign paperwork without going thru any details. My salesman Jason quit before picking up the truck, called me to say how embarrassed he was to work there and that Ashley is known for bait and switching. These crooks messed up a payoff causing my wife and my credit scores to have a late payment which we had to get settled with GM because elementary math is optional at Jim Ternary. She tacked on gap insurance and today the kicker was a $1141 personal property bill that these incompetent shady con artists forgot to pay and wouldn't honor. Run from this place if you get any uncomfortable feeling. I cannot believe how awful this experience was and hopefully they go out of business. Know way Ashley should be anywhere near a "financial manager" position. More

My head light was broken, not the bulb but the actual piece that holds it in and with school I wasn't able to make an appointment to have it fixed till after my 30 days was up. They wanted me to pay out of pocket. Since then my door handle broke off and it's having battery issues. It won't start and has to be jumped almost everytime I go to leave. Im a senior in high school and I saved every dime I have to buy this car. I don't have much money for repairs and I wasn't expecting to have many repairs seeing as I bought it from a reputable dealership and it is a newer model car. I've had nothing but issues and they have done nothing to help me. They just want more money for repairs that I shouldn't have to worry in he first place. More
