Very poor sales service . I came in to buy a new truck and I got a gentleman that was what I call playing games. He ask me if I wanted to lease the truck and I said no I am he I came in to buy a new truck and I got a gentleman that was what I call playing games. He ask me if I wanted to lease the truck and I said no I am here to buy a truck I had all the financing already in place and I knew my limit. He said he was going to talk to his boss and he would be right back and at that time I specifically told him if he was going to play the back and forth game with me I’m going to leave and I will not be back and he says oh ok. And then he comes back and says about where are you wanting your payments to be and are you sure that you want this truck I have several different ones on the lot. I had already found the truck that I wanted and I didn’t know what the problem was why am I being treated this way. I was pretty brand dependent because that’s all I had ever owned was Chevy trucks and I had a 2005 1500 Silverado LT package that I was trading in and they took it somewhere for appraisal but it disappeared and it never came back the entire time I was talking to this guy, by this point I was getting pretty frustrated. Anyway the salesman went to talk to his boss again about something, at this point I didn’t understand what was going on I had told the guy I had my own financing and I was looking for his best price and I would determine if that’s was the truck for me or not and then I would look at something less expensive and I kept looking around hoping for a different salesperson please get me away from this guy but I didn’t see anybody. Anyway he came back with another stupid question and excuse or something and I was then pissed and I asked him where my truck was at and he didn’t know where it was and finally they realized it was still in the back where they did the appraisals and then they told me what they were going to offer me for trade value and it was more than $1000 less than blue book and I know this because I looked it up before going to the dealership but I will admit the truck was a 2005 and it had a few miles on it but it was still in excellent condition the leather seats were still in really good condition it was a clean truck I was actually considering just keeping the truck for a extra vehicle or something. But I was on my way out to get my truck and I was going somewhere else because that place was a absolute joke of a dealership I worked as a automotive repair technician for years at a Chevrolet dealership several years ago that had since sold to a different owner and it was several miles away that’s why I thought of giving Jim Norton Chevrolet in broken arrow a shot. But as I was walking out the sales manager asked me what was wrong and I was like buddy if you don’t know by now I’m not going to take the time to tell you. Well in all honesty I guess this salesperson wasn’t actually going to him and asking him questions he was pretending to go and talk with someone and coming back to me. In so many words he was trying to play me just like I figured from the beginning when I kept telling him that I’m just here to buy a truck can you help me out. I never found out what his intentions were or what he was trying to accomplish but I left that Chevy dealership and I went right across the street and I test drove a brand new Ram 4x4 almost the same color and everything I was looking for in Chevy but I have to say it drove better and it had a smoother and more quite ride and it had more power and better fuel mileage than the Chevy it came with more options. It had a better warranty and it was definitely more heavy duty suspension differentials and everything. I looked it over from top to bottom. The salesperson was very nice and helpful didn’t do the back and forth game and when I was given the best price for that truck I couldn’t pass it up and I got $2000 above blue book for my trade. I was very satisfied and I couldn’t believe how bad I was treated at this Chevy dealership. That was in May of 2019 and I will probably buy another Ram before going back to Jim Norton. More
I am not a huge fan of car sales people, but Morgan went ABOVE and BEYOND to make this the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. She was thorough, kind, patient, resourceful and had a great resol went ABOVE and BEYOND to make this the BEST car buying experience I have ever had. She was thorough, kind, patient, resourceful and had a great resolve and follow thru. We drove a little over 3 hours to get to the dealership and it was 10000% worth it. My mom and I wish we could clone her to bring her closer to where we live. She was not the typical car sales person, but was a genuine good person. I would highly recommend her for ANY car buying experiences. More
I hate buying cars and I really don't like dealerships - but Max (sales) and Gerry (money taker :) ) changed my mind!! They were top notch and made the car buying experience pleasant. This is the first time I have purchased a car from Norton Chevrolet. I was more pleased with Zach than I was with the dealership, as a whole. Zach was kind enough to make sure that some of issues that showed Chevrolet. I was more pleased with Zach than I was with the dealership, as a whole. Zach was kind enough to make sure that some of issues that showed up, before I could drive my car home, were taken care of so it was safe. He was very kind, honest and attentive to business and did his job well. I would highly recommend Zach as someone to trust when purchasing a vehicle. The reason the dealership did not get a 5 is because the issues that Zach kindly took care of, should have been addressed by the service dept before the car was on the lot for sale. More
