0n 2/26/2014 I spoke to Rebecca. I asked her if they had any used Subaru's in stock. She said they had six. After driving over there I was informed they had 0. This is called bait and switch. I would never do businesses with this place If you don't believe me you can call 304-725-8095. If they act like this before they get your money you can guess how they will act after they have it. Every bad thing you can think about a used car dealer is embodied buy these people. I spoke to Rebecca at 10.05 11.07 12.31. Each time I told her what I was looking for. Each time I was told they had these cars in stock. After I realized what there scam was I tried to contact Rebecca. Surprise she was no were to be found. I tried to call her at 12.45 12.50 12.52 1.08. each time my call was given to a different person. When I voiced my displeasure wit there treatment of me some how my calls were lost or disconnected. Wow unless you can not get a car anywhere else. RUN RUN DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PIECES OF GARBAGE More
I stopped by Jim McKay Chevrolet on Saturday morning (5/18/2013). I had recently been provided a Chevrolet promotion meant to get folks into the dealership and try out (test drive) the vehicles. The promotion worked as I decided to visit my local dealer for a drive. Unfortunately, my experience was terrible! The sales rep (Craig Caldwell) had no interest in honoring the promotion and insisted that it was not valid at this dealership. He clearly did not want to waste his time on a promo visit. I received no help. I have been buying cars for over 30 years and have never been treated that poorly…..in fact I have never submitted a bad review on-line! (BTW - I later confirmed that the promo is good at ALL Chevrolet dealers.) Stay Away from Jim McKay! More

I just purchsed my 4rh car from Jim McKay and I am a very happy customer. The people who work at Jim McKay are friendly, knowledgeable and most of all have integrity, which is so important in the car busine happy customer. I bought a car from carmax but a few days after purchase it started to have a metal on metal sound coming from the brakes. So I went back to carmax and it took them three days to figure out what they though it started to have a metal on metal sound coming from the brakes. So I went back to carmax and it took them three days to figure out what they thought was wrong. Within a mile of leaving carmax, the sound happened again and I was not about to take it right back to them. I googled a chevy dealership near my home and Jim Mckay popped up so I called and made an appointment. To my surprise , Mike said to roll on in and could start working on it almost immediately. That was a major relief. I couldn't show up that day so I stopped by the next morning with a friend to drop off my car. Mike immediately greeted me and had a technician hop in. After about a minute of paperwork, I left with my friend and 15 minutes later, Mike called and said the technician had identified the problem and said it could be fixed with a half hour!! And to make my day even more, he said he was only going to charge me for actual work done which was a half hour. Mike and the technician did an amazing job. I was notified promptly, I had great service, and it was a more than fair price. What more can anyone want from a dealer? A month later the problem still has not come back and I can say the problem was fixed. I have also had an oil change there since the original fix and that also went flawlessly. I have also convinced my other family members with a chrysler and a honda to come by for the amazing service and they are pleased. Every needs to use Jim Mckay Chevrolet for any service. They have me and my family as a customer for life. More
My visit to the dealership was for service. I am very loyal to another dealership where my family has a long-standing sales/service relationship, but my preferred dealer is an hour away and time constrai loyal to another dealership where my family has a long-standing sales/service relationship, but my preferred dealer is an hour away and time constraints made me look in the Fairfax area. After scheduling service and receiving an estimate for repairs, the service representative found I had an extended warranty and might be covered. I had forgotten about the extension I added on when purchasing the vehicle. I only thought electronics were covered anyway. In the end, I was prepared to pay a lot more for repairs. From the dealership's due diligence, I only ended up paying $200. I've got a year left on my current vehicle loan. Once that is over, I'll be looking for a truck. I will probably look to buy from the home dealership where I have history, but knowing that my home is now Fairfax, I may look to purchase from here. This dealership would be my first choice in Fairfax. More

I was told by a friend that I should have my paintwork done at Jim McKay Chevrolet in Fairfax, VA. My friend said that they would give me a reasonable price and being that the dealership was right down th done at Jim McKay Chevrolet in Fairfax, VA. My friend said that they would give me a reasonable price and being that the dealership was right down the road from my house, it was super convenient. I stopped by one Friday afternoon to discuss the paintwork that I would like done, they were incredibly enthusiastic about it and were looking forward to working on my car, so they scheduled the work to be completed first thing the following Monday morning. They weren't kidding, shortly after dropping the car off around 8am, they began working on painting my trunk right away. They taped off the lip of the trunk perfectly along the curves, preserving the overall aggressive lines of the car. By Tuesday afternoon I got a call to come inspect the trunk, I was shocked at how quickly they'd completed the work. It was easily 10/10, the work was spectacular and I get a smile everytime I walk out to my car, even a month later. More
