BUYER BEWARE !!!! ****"Certified" pre-owned purchased with falling apart air filter? So bad that gas milage was reduced by 6-8mpg ****Stains lifting in carpet- finally replaced after wasting lots of time and energy. Now I have BAGGY carpet in places. ****Horrible customer service: Expect lots of apologies, to be told you need to talk to a manager and there is nothing anyone else can do. Then NO call backs from the manager. If you think this dealership has such great ratings, on here, Read this: I initially, after having such a bad experience and not receiving any calls for months from Jim Faulk- left a bad rating on dealerrater *** That was the quickest contact I ever received from them!!! They called and made promises to do everything I needed, and as well asked that I change my review.... and I did, from all 1 stars to 5's as they promised me they would make everything better.**** Now here we are. After going through what I have - I assume that at least a good portion of the other "ratings" were based off complaints that were eventually rectified. Anyways, the details of my experience: Immediately after purchasing my "CERTIFIED" pre-owned Lexus my average gas mpg was 15.. in effort to improve it, I took it in several times as well as used fuel injector cleaner and drove at 55mph on the freeway and was lucky to get it up to 18mpg. I took it back to the service center several times, they inspected it and I was told each time that there was no problem and this is normal and what I should expect to get from this hybrid. I looked online and saw that other people were reporting much better gas mileage. Finally I took the car to a local repair shop - they checked the air filter and said - it was literally falling apart and clogged. They said it looked like it hadn't been changed in YEARS. My car immediately drove amazingly better and mpg jumped to 22-24average. The manager said he would call me back regarding extending the warranty because of their mistake. To this day he has not called me back regarding this. How does a car company miss the air filter after checking the car 3x's and having "all the maintenance done before I purchased it as a "certified" pre-owned car? I was told: sometimes a car will be pulling to the left - and technicians immediately jump to wanting to do an alignment before they ever check the tire pressure in the car and that sometimes the little things are over looked??? Its very hard on a car and ages a car to have a dirty air filter. The repair shop that I took my car to did not have a lexus air filter and told me that I needed one ASAP -and recommended instead of ordering one, they called around for me and I went to the closest auto part store to get one. (yes, the air filter was that bad).... The mechanic said that he was afraid to dust it off for my short trip to the auto part store because the fibers were falling apart. Also stains started "lifting" from the carpet. I took it back 2-3 different times and each time the service center had it deep cleaned however each time stains would lift within a month. The service center said that I would need to contact the Sales manager. I left several messages for the sales manager who never returned ANY calls. Eventually contacted Regina Pruitt who got things going and eventually the carpet was replaced (they did mention after the fact that they had someone try to dye the carpet, however that didn't seem to work either). Since the carpet was replaced it is "baggy" in areas. I was advised by the service center to leave the car in the sun so the carpet would tighten. After leaving the car in the sun, as directed, the carpet is still somewhat baggy and loose and now my leather seats look aged! I have left email for Regina as well as the service center manager - will no response. I now have a devalued car with baggy carpet and aged seats that was driven for 5 months with a clogged air filter. Other issues: These issues have been resolved- so they are no longer outstanding issues, however beware of being mislead by the sales man. When I purchased the car, the sunroof was not working right - which the sales man said that is just how it is supposed to work in a Lexus. Assuming he was not lying, I took his word for it. A few months later the entire sunroof broke and had to be replaced (With all the problems I was having with Jim Faulk I took it to a different Lexus Dealership in Sacramento and they DID cover it under my warranty and had great customer service! The sales man also explained how the gps was the latest and greatest! only to find out after I purchased it that it was an old version that sent me to locations that did not even exist. The dealership did install the new version after all my troubles for no charge... I am thankful for this. However, I cannot accurately state whether the sales man was just uneducated, didn't care or was purposely deceitful... but still misleading. More

I have purchased auto's before but I have never felt as comfortable as I did at this dealership especially because of Nidal! He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. He made me feel like I was comfortable as I did at this dealership especially because of Nidal! He answered all of my questions and was very helpful. He made me feel like I was welcome and did not judge me on my appearence as other dealers have before. Being a rather large hispanic male we are often catogorized a certain way but with Nidal he made me feel very comfortable. I would definatly refer him and this dealership. Financing was also a breeze, Bianca did not make it complicated at all. I really do appreciate all of the efforts that were made to get me into this car as quick as possible. I am sure my wife will love it since it is also a surprise for her birthday on March 12. Thank you once again. More
Not only was Doug pleasant, but he had a great sense of humor and was not pushy. He answered all our questions, and was able to sell us the car we wanted at the price we wanted. This is my second lease with Alex/Safi and Jim Faulk Lexus of Beverly Hills. They won my business initially because the lease pricing and customer service was better than all other Lexus dealerships in Lexus of Beverly Hills. They won my business initially because the lease pricing and customer service was better than all other Lexus dealerships in the Greater Los Angeles area. This time around (for my second lease) I went to the Lexus Santa Monica dealership and they were not providing me nearly as good of a deal that Alex and Safi gave me. Great guys, running a terrific business that I will be a client at for many years to come! More
