I came in to simply replace the battery in my car that was dying. (Unfortunately, I couldn’t get into Sam’s Club!! My mistake!) While waiting I got a call from someone named Mariah who said that the deale was dying. (Unfortunately, I couldn’t get into Sam’s Club!! My mistake!) While waiting I got a call from someone named Mariah who said that the dealership was very interested in buying my car. She asked if I had a number in mind to sell. I told her I wanted a new Porsche and would love $50k. She said she couldn’t do that but had a Black Friday special and would love to have me come to the VIP desk to discuss a number. After being transferred to 3 different sales people, I was finally sent to the back where some lady who said she’ll give me the Blue Book value!! Bottom line: WHY ARE YOU WASTING MY TIME WITH BAIT AND SWITCH TACTICS??!!! I was very comfortable sitting and waiting for my car and I had to deal with this xx. Do better, please!!!!Also, I was quoted on the phone a price for the battery. When I came in and asked to use a coupon, I was told that the coupon would make the price of the battery more expensive because the price quoted was a sale price. Again, bait and switch. And finally, I was not able to use my Toyota rewards card. Why wasn’t that information sent out to customers? Corporate greed, I guess. It is what it is. I needed a battery so I didn’t have other options on Thanksgiving Eve. Whew. More
