Wow!!! Went to Jim Ellis Toyota to purchase a car for our daughter. Arriving on site we were met by Hudson who was exceptionally pleasant. We told him what we were looking for, he listened keenly and showe daughter. Arriving on site we were met by Hudson who was exceptionally pleasant. We told him what we were looking for, he listened keenly and showed us several cars that was in our price range. He did several comparisons of different vehicles and showed us the different options so we could make a decision. What I liked about that part was he was not pushy or forceful. He gave us space so we could come up with a finally decision, but was always close at hand to answer any uncertainness and questions we might have had. After begin outside for about 30 minutes and made our decision we went inside. He got us some ice cold water and we sat down and started the paperwork. About 2 hours or more in doing the paper work Hudson was called away, and he return with a lady he sat down and told us that there is a little SNAG!!!. The car that we are purchasing is already begin sold, WHAT!!!! That is not a snag that is a huge issue. I think choice of words are key and I think that there should have been more empathy on her part, she should have the ability to understand the feelings that we were feeling. It was like oh, well things happen we will get you another car. I walked out and was ready to leave. Hudson came out side because at this time my family came outside with me, and what turned everything around was the compassion that Hudson showed and he listened to us and we were very respectful because we do understand that things happen but the initial approached was just wrong.. Anyway we did purchase the another vehicle same make, model and color just different year. I know that was God's plan. Overall the experience was not bad the office was very clean and William Mason from the Finance Department was phenomenal and was also understanding. I would have given the dealership a five star but because of the SNAG we ran into. Question---would I recommend friends and family to Jim Ellis Toyota of McDonough? YES I would. Not because of one person's wrong choice of words and not having any empathy. Go see Hudson Toussaint. More
