car repairs For the most part your service is good.However,on 2 occasions I have had to return my car.In January the transmission fluid was changed.I was told the For the most part your service is good.However,on 2 occasions I have had to return my car.In January the transmission fluid was changed.I was told the car needed it.I got half way home and had to be towed back to the dealership.Last week I got my oil changed,went outside to leave and there was a big chip in the door handle.It was fixed at no charge to me.But that was 4 trips to the dealership.Every time I come there for service, I have to return.Doug Kircher was very helpful.Every one there that I talked to was very sorry about the trouble. But this is getting old.If I have this again I will take my car some where else. More

Alex the manager helped us get the tonneau cover (another whole problem) but ignored us and wouldn’t answer our calls when we discovered defective locks had been installed on the cover TWICE! Thank you, Dalton, for your persistence and getting the job done! You are an asset to the service department. More

Didn't do what they told me they would. They said they would take 90 minutes to check out the car change oil fill the fluids they took over 2 hours and didn't fill my fluids had to go buy w They said they would take 90 minutes to check out the car change oil fill the fluids they took over 2 hours and didn't fill my fluids had to go buy washer fluid rig ht after the service they didn't full my tank when I bought the car and the free WiFi for 2 months was a joke only lasted 3 weeks and they turned it off but not before there blocking of my data so I couldn't use my phone data. Im supposed to have one more free service for buying at J im butler's. I think they want me to come there for my service work but with this kind of service not sure I'll even use the free visit. Really not happy with your company! More

Why Schedule An Appointment I scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. to have my car diagnosed for a transmission noise. It was not serviced on Tuesday. It was not s I scheduled an appointment for a Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. to have my car diagnosed for a transmission noise. It was not serviced on Tuesday. It was not serviced on Wednesday. Finally, Thursday at 2:00 p.m. I received a call to tell me how much it would cost (nearlyi $4,700) to replace my transmission (a 2013 Impala with 78k miles). When I asked what exactly was wrong with the transmission, I was told that "to tear into it would really raise the cost." So, I said you really don't know what is wrong with the transmission and you want to install a whole new transmission.. I told them I will be there later today to take my car back - for which I paid $99 plus tax. I took my car to Aamco Transmission in Ballwin and received a precise diagnosis as to what was wrong and an offer to fix it for $2,300. To be fair, I will not get my car back for two more days, so I cannot comment on Aamco's fix. But, it is clear to me: Why should Butler tie-up technicians tearing-into my transmission for $2,300 when they can realtively quickly install a new one for $4,700; ( get it, but I won't be back. This is the second Impala I bought from Jim Butler, including a 2008 when they were just starting-out. More
