Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We do apologize for the longer than usual wait time for your oil change package. Our normal wait time for this service is 90 minutes, but to comply with recent pandemic orders, we have reduced our staff accordingly. We are also taking the necessary precautions to distance our technicians and sanitize between customers. This has unfortunately resulted in longer than usual wait times on the day you visited us. We are constantly working improve wait times for our customers and we are doing everything we can to help our customers in these uncertain times. Thank you for your feedback, James. We sincerely apologize that this visit was such a problem. We understand your frustrations and we have passed your feedback on to our Service Director so he can work on improvements and preventative measures. The recall on your vehicle (a software update) is what took so long. We were attempting to get that completed for the majority of the time your vehicle was there. Notifications of recalls are supposed to come from GM, and not from the dealership level. We are surprised that they did not notify you. We suspect they are delayed on sending out these notifications due to COVID-19. There should have been more communication throughout your visit, but also to let you know that something like looking into why the trailer lights were not working properly is something that would need to be looked at by a journeyman technician and would require your vehicle being left overnight. We are more than happy to set up another time for you to come in and drop off your truck so we can look at the trailering lights. We hope to have the opportunity to show you that we can do better in the future.
