We booked an appointment six weeks in advance for work that would require a journeyman. We were very clear about the scope of work, so the dealership knew a journeyman would be required. On the day of the appointment, the dealership told us they would need to keep our vehicle for up to a week, as a journeyman would be required and we would need to wait for one to be available. I did not understand why, when we booked the appointment in advance and were clear about the scope of work, the journeyman was not booked for us at this time. I believe the service advisor failed or refused to listen to me, and just put us down for a regular service appointment/evaluation of the issue. If the service advisor would have taken me seriously and noted the issue, the wait could have been avoided. My husband is a certified master mechanic; we knew what the issue was. My husband just didn't have time to fix it himself and wanted the dealership to take care of it. Listen to your customers. Being that we have a family and cannot be without our car for a week, we cancelled the service and brought our car home. We wasted our time driving all the way from South City to this dealership twice for dropoff and pickup, which we did because it was where we had purchased the vehicle. More
