We really appreciate your patience Ms. Watson. During my investigation I found it is quite possible that you are not driving the vehicle enough. When we don't drive our vehicles carbon builds up and when if we don't drive them for long enough distances the carbon doesn't have a chance to burn off. During your last visit we did a carob induction service (free of charge) to clear the carbon build up. Our service director has approved for you to come in every six months (free of charge) so that we can check on the carbon build up. That way we can keep an eye on it. I drive the car every single day back and forth to work which is approximately 15 miles both ways. The car is also driven on the week-ends. l I would say that is approximately how much other people who work locally put on their cars on a daily basis. (There was nothing in the Contract that said I had to drive it a certain number of miles per day). The service director has approved for me to come in every 6 months free of charge so they can keep an eye on it? Isn't that kind of him? And if it is dirty I should pay $100 to have it changed for the next 3 1/2 years under Major Guard. And then pay full cost( which is several hundred dollars ) because it will not have Major Guard anymore? I think it should be paid for for as long as I own the car by either Jim Butler or GM as it has a a defect in the vehicle which is not my fault. I JUST OWN IT. So I have two choices. Sell the vehicle that I truly enjoy or DEAL WITH IT. This is not what I would call compensation for a defective product. I suppose I will be taking this further.
