I needed 2 things done, O2 sensor a recall an windshield wiper motor ($560 out of my pocket - was told an a quote for $300 plus on wiper motor. So I was told 2-3 days. I told office people I had to pay for rental car out of pocket, least expensive car - $360, for 5 1/2 days. After i told them on day i dropped off “I needed wipers done, had to, do it”. My mechanic doesn't call till Monday and asks if “I wanted it done” an gives price. Not the $300 plus number. I said yes, “do it” which. had already been said on Wed. I asked if i could get car today, that i had to pay for rental car - he said yeah he’d try. (my work started at 8:30 that morning, talked to him about 9am. My work finished at 12:30. He called around 12 said car was finished. So after watching a bunch of O2. sensor changes for my car I’ll give a maximum of 3 hours just to be fair. plus around the same amount of time for wipers because of when i went to work talked to my mechanic an when he called me. So a total of 6 hours. What im getting at here is that i let ( team) know id be paying out of pocket for wipers an rental car. If took so little time to do, why am I out $360 for rental, that basically my car sat in your lot till mechanic called wanting to “get started”. So along with the price quote to actual price big difference and the sitting on your lot nothing being done “I feel screwed over and IM NOT A HAPPY CUSTOMER”. I also was not talked to on completion of work, nothing said to me about job, just handed the keys. I would really like a explanation of why it couldn't have been done in even a REASONABLE amount of time, forcing me to have to pay so much more for my rental. I probably wont get a answer which is a shame since i’ve bought last 3 cars from you. Ive got perfect credit an really wanted a Camaro. Not so much now. Melanie Smothers More
My truck was taken into the shop after I talked to the service advisor. Kim listened to my concerns and listed them on the service ticket. The SERVICE 4WD light stayed on after I replaced my battery.
