Buyer BEWARE What ever you do NEVER purchase a vehicle from Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi of Kansas City. I purchased a 2018 Hyundai from them which I picked up on De What ever you do NEVER purchase a vehicle from Jeremy Franklin Mitsubishi of Kansas City. I purchased a 2018 Hyundai from them which I picked up on December 26th. Wednesday I was coming back from Topeka and the oil light came on and the vehicle shut down on me. After spending hours on the side of I-70 and finally getting towed to the Hyundai dealership in Topeka they get it on the lift and discover that the access panel is missing and the oil plug is GONE! After going back and forth for two days Jeremy Franklin refuses to take responsibility for the plug coming out. The vehicle still has the manufacturer warranty but because it was an error on their part the warranty won’t cover the new engine. The service manager Jim says that it wouldn’t have taken that long to come out so they won’t take responsibility. I now have a vehicle I’ve made one payment on that has a blown engine due to their neglect and they say I’m responsible for the repair. When I asked to speak to someone above Jim he said I could talk to the sales manager Chris, who is the one I spoke to originally on my call and acted like he didn’t know anything about it and said I’d have to talk to Jim. So they just want to pass the buck. I posted my frustration on my Facebook page and because of the negative comment they blocked me from posting a negative review on their page. So if you have a bad experience they just block the review. I had seen some poor reviews on Yelp after I bought it. I hoped I was would be lucky. Please warn everyone you know that they are not a reputable dealership and what ever you do, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM!!! More
I am very pleased with the professionalism of all the workers in service. Also I am in love with my new set of 4 tires. Jeremy Franklin has the best deal on a new set of 4. I am now ready for winter. Taking Ownership Brought my vehicle into service for 3 safety recalls. Two of them being windshield wiper related. Sure enough I get the vehicle back and there is a 2 Brought my vehicle into service for 3 safety recalls. Two of them being windshield wiper related. Sure enough I get the vehicle back and there is a 2 foot crack in my windshield and notes on the invoice for "pre-existing damage". Interesting that the work they were doing was right were the damage occured. Convenient. If you can't trust service managers to take care of you when their guys mess up. Then what happens when you pay for major repairs and something goes wrong. If they will not take ownership for the little things, do you think they will back you with major issues. Its an integrity issue. Black and white. I hate leaving bad reviews. I really do. More
Simply Outstanding My automobile was due for its second oil change and service was scheduled. That morning struck a pothole which damaged right front tire. Took my automobile in for oil change service and had the technician ,Josh Cressey, look at the tire. Josh reported the tire was destroyed and offered to replace the tire with a tire that was equivalent to the tire that was destroyed to save me money. It was my choice to try and replace the tire with exactly what was on the vehicle. Josh quoted me the price of the exact replacement and again offered an equivalent to save me money. Asked if they had the both in stock and to my surprise they had both. My experience with other dealerships is almost always having to wait for the part, causing another trip to the dealership. As settling in for the wait that seems to last forever Josh came into the waiting area, which is very nice and comfortable, and said my service was complete. I asked "even the tire" Josh reported all work was complete. Just as an extra note, left my phone on the passage seat and asked a person from the service department, wish I had his name, if would get my phone. He stopped what he was doing immediately and retrieved my phone. Maybe doesn't sound like much but for myself and surly for others it seams at other dealerships when you ask for a favor they make sure you realize it is a brother. Having somebody that sets their priority as customer service is an outstanding experience. To sum it all up the entire service department is outstanding, knowledgeable, professional, and put customer service as the top priority. More

Great getting you into a car but cheap cars They were great getting us a good deal on our trade in and getting us into a family vehicle. But when it came to paying off the trade in loan they did They were great getting us a good deal on our trade in and getting us into a family vehicle. But when it came to paying off the trade in loan they did not send the check off in the 10day payoff period. It took the 2 1/2 weeks to get the payoff sent. In which time the next payment was due. A payment that should not have come out of our account did and withdrew us. We ended up with overdraft fees because of the dealers mistake on not sending off our payoff to the bank in the correct time frame. On top of that I requested the inspection that they said was done and they did not provide it. They said an oil change had been done and it was black and almost empty just a month after having it. Also had we had to get one of the tires fixed because it kept getting low. Now it’s only been a month and a half and the other tire is having the same problem. The sway bars are also bad. All of which I am finding out on my own because the inspection was not provided. If you do buy from them demand the inspection before purchasing! And call in a few time to make sure they mail out your payoff when they are supposed to! More

Josh was very unprofessional in dealing with this matter and when I tried to explain my dilemma his arrogance made me feel as if I just been had and nothing could be done. He even asked me how smart I was implying that just cause they failed to offer me a chance to purchase a extended warranty that some how made me stupid....His responses sounded rehearsed and his body language was of a nonchalant nature I fear for the next victim that is mislead by this dealership and it is folks like this that give Jeremy Franklin a bad name.(gave me a paper with wife signature on it stating we declined all of these products that were presented and none of these products I feel were adequately offered but her signature was verified but again if we would have known it was being offered we would have took advantage of that service.
