ABSOLUTLY HORRIBE EXPIERENCE After a week with no response I feel like it is time to share the extremely unpleasant and unacceptable experience I had dealing with Jeff Wyler Chevr After a week with no response I feel like it is time to share the extremely unpleasant and unacceptable experience I had dealing with Jeff Wyler Chevrolet on Dixie Highway. On Monday 3/27 my car was dropped off to be evaluated and repaired for a recall/warranty that was issued causing a serious safety hazard while driving. A few hours after being dropped off I received a call from "Jackie" who was calling to tell me what was going on and what needed to happen. Much to my surprise she told me that I didn't "qualify" for the warranty work and that the cost was going to be upward of $1000. I had only answered my phone while at work because I thought it was going to be a quick conversation. After hearing the news I asked "Jackie" if I could call her back on my lunch break and that is when things began the downhill slide. She responded that " it's your car, do what you want" On my lunch break I called back and spoke to "Jackie" again who was extremely rude. She attempted to explain to me why I didn’t qualify for the warranty/recall but made sure that I knew that "she and he dealership were not in control of the situation and I would just have to deal with it how I see fit". I then told her I would like to talk to some people so please don’t start on it just yet, that I would call back within 24 hours to let them know what I had decided to do. I, at that point wanted to go get my car and take it somewhere else but was told if I did I would have to pay the $100+ for the diagnostic that they had done and then pay it again at another service center. Considering I was already having to pay for something that I still strongly feel should not have, I couldn’t see paying that again. I began trying to call the service department on Tue morning at 8am. I called at least 10 times from then until 2pm with no answer or response from Jackie and anytime I would get someone else (both a man and a woman at one time or another) I was told only "Jackie" could help me. I finally had a friend who was in the area (I live 40 miles from there) actually go to the dealership so that they could start on my car as I had already been without it for a day and needed it back ASAP. I still never received a response or call back from "Jackie" or anyone else until Wed morning when I had a message telling me my car was done. I was glad for it to be finished but because of the distance and my work schedule I wasn’t able to go pick it up until Friday afternoon. Upon arriving at the service center I walked in and paid for the work done (warranty/recall) and was given my keys. I then walked across the parking lot to find my car and began putting my things in. At that point I noticed the balled up paper and plastic from the mechanics on my floor, no big deal I can throw it away! However when I picked it up I found several screws laying in the floor. My immediate thoughts were "is my car going to fall apart as I drive it away? Why weren't these put back?" Then I noticed the broken in half trim on my center dash. I immediately went back inside to let them know the issue. I asked to speak to the service manager and "Jackie" then proceeded to tell me that they don’t do that kind of work that she would check it out and walked to my car to see the damage. When we got to my car and I showed her the things that were wrong she immediately agreed with me that the damage was done there and that it would be fixed at not cost to me. They even gave me a loaner car at this point until it was complete. When I received a call on Monday morning (3 days later) I was again excited to have my car back so I went to pick it up as soon as I got off work. When I arrived to get it I found several things that were wrong with my dash. I again asked the manager to come to my car and he brought "Tim" from the garage to come with him. As I pointed out the things that were wrong he fixed them but why did I have to show him, why wasn't it done correctly to begin with? Then there is the cosmetic damage that was on both sides of the dash where something had been used to pry the parts off. There are digs and gashes in the plastic interior of my car and when asked about the manager told me the I should be receiving a call from a mobile interior person who would come to me to fix those damages. Although I wasn't leaving happy about any of it I was ready to be done with them and felt confident after all that had happened that I would in fact hear from the guy to repair my interior. I then left the service center in my car and while driving went to plug my phone into the cigarette lighter to charge when I was stabbed in the finger by a random wire connection that was hanging out next to it. I immediately turned around and went back to have it fixed. When I first arrived "Jackie" said she didn't know what to do because "Tim" was already gone. She then walked out to my car where she was able to flag him down in the parking lot. He again walked to my car, pulled my dash apart in front of me to reconnect a wire that was left unattached and had I been in a serious situation would have been without caution/emergency lights. He stepped out of my car and very rudely said "there" and turned and walked away. Since then I have heard nothing from the service center at Jeff Wyler or the mobile detail person who was supposed to be contacting me for the repairs from the damage that was caused to my vehicle by them. Not only was I completely dissatisfied with the fact that I had to pay to correct a problem that is obviously know by the GMC but the service I received was completely unacceptable and unprofessional. I hope that by reading this you will consider not using this service center. I hope to save anyone I can the time and trouble More
