These guys made my buying my NEW car very easy and gave me a lot of piece of mind throughout everything. Shout out to Dave who, knowing it was my first time buying a car, showed me around the dealership so me a lot of piece of mind throughout everything. Shout out to Dave who, knowing it was my first time buying a car, showed me around the dealership so that I would know where to go when it came time to get my oil changed. I would never have known where to go, and he made it a point to take me to the garage area where my car would be left in the hands of such a nice group of guys. Thank you to Paul Fiedler who kept in touch with me through email when I had questions and for giving me Dave. These guys really made buying a car SO simple and they took such good care of me. Anthony Vega made my experience at Jeff D'Amborsio the best ever. You do not find people like him quite often. He not only does his job in giving patience but going above and beyond his means. I give this dealer a bad overall rating due to their deceptive sales practices. I purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. During our time with the salesman, I repeatedly said I wanted a model deceptive sales practices. I purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport. During our time with the salesman, I repeatedly said I wanted a model with roof racks (sleek, aerodynamic looking racks that match the color of the car). I made my expectation clear by not only pointing to the racks, pointing out and discussing available models on the lot that had the racks, but I even put my hand on them when we verified the model I wanted. The salesman promised I could come back and have the racks installed, since the model I wanted on the lot didn't have them. A manager/supervisor agreed to the deal and added $375 to the total price for them. When I returned to the dealer, they mounted some crummy after market clunky, steel colored, square shaped racks. When I complained and again showed what I expected, I was told what I wanted are roof RAILS, not racks, and cost substantially more. The dealer would not put these on my car as promised. I rejected the racks and demanded a refund, and was given a check for $175. When I complained of this price difference, the dealership couldn't provide proof of the price they charged me, since it was rolled into the total price, not listed as a seperate line item. And because of this I didn't have proof of the price I paid. Out $200. Calls to Mitsubishi went nowhere, since they directed me back to the dealership who did not respond. I also agreed to pay extra for scratch and dent fixing. I was using the new car to travel to work 100 miles a day, and expected to get some dings to my car's paint. On another occasion I took my car in for service and pointed out the scratches on the drivers side. Luckily I asked about the special warranty I pay for before authorizing work. Not covered. So now I pay an extra, albeit small, charge to my monthly payments for scratch and dent repair that apparently has very little chance of being covered under the warranty, except under extremely limited circumstances, if at all. Quick summary, the dealer did not honor or provide the features we agreed upon when I purchased my car, did not refund me the total amount I paid for those features, and refused to honor the warranty for scratch and dent repair as described to me when I bought my car. More
