I liked having the initial contact thru the internet sales division vs. coming to the dealership outright. Wondering who wants to deal with me, I feel like it's a rock, paper,scissors moment and neither party wants that. So Justin gave me information back in May and we finally decided this month and he remembered details from our first meeting. A good experience, and I typically hate car dealerships. I have an intense dislike for stealerships after having seen friends and family members get burned by such establishments over the years. I celebrated when Denny Hecker (the former owner of a few dealerships in my area) went to prison - although it was about 20 years too late. Anyway, the time came for me to buy a new car. I'd purchases used vehicles from small independent dealers before but I'd never had a new car from a big dealer. Jeff Belzer's prices are typically lower than other dealers in the metro (most dealers have abandoned the haggling of yesteryear and now "the price is the price") so they lured me in. I really don't have any complaints, and that's high praise coming from someone like me. Paul Johnson was my salesperson and he was fantastic, despite the fact that I'm not exactly the easiest customer in the world. I will be recommending him to others in the future. He doesn't have an ounce of that creepy salesperson vibe, which is extremely rare in the business. More
