Failure to Check Basics when car in for service A couple of days after having my 2014 Fiat Serviced ( Check Engine Light) I had to replace the car battery. This is the 2nd battery that has failed. I A couple of days after having my 2014 Fiat Serviced ( Check Engine Light) I had to replace the car battery. This is the 2nd battery that has failed. I would have thought the dealer would have removed the cell filler caps to check fluid level. They didnt and the battery was dry. I asked them to replace the battery but they declined because the car mileage was over 75,000 mile. I asked for a contact number for Fiat division; the one they gave me did not work. This dealer has been barraged by fiat owners, since most of the dealers are shut down. Chrysler should not sell a product they cannot or will not stand behind. I would not buy a CHRYSLER product again. More

A great experience I have a 2008 RAM 1500 mega cab 2 wheel drive . I took it in for my 10 year inspection and to have the passenger airbag replaced . Dont take your car here! THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS! Dropped my car off at 14 k miles, second clutch on it. Was told it would be $4300 + tax (i do not race m THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS A BUNCH OF CROOKS! Dropped my car off at 14 k miles, second clutch on it. Was told it would be $4300 + tax (i do not race my car or abuse it). Hellcat clutches are only warrantied for 12mo/ 12k miles (of which this is my second clutch that THEY did!). They attempted to sell me a flywheel which is covered in the mopar warranty page 9 or 10 under gasoline engines, in addition to being very unprofessional, like never letting me talk to any managers or the head of service writing. I also had to pay $150 to get my car out, and they did absolutely ZERO work on it! i have notified the federal trade commision, the state of california attourney general, the better business bureau, and the san bernadino county controller. These guys run a racket. Karl mills is the only half decent person in this service area. THEY WILL TRY TO RIP YOU OFF. Think twice before bringing your car here for service. More
Wrong diagnosist Time line of events, 1989 – Purchased my first vehicle from Jeep Chrysler of Ontario June 2017 – Purchased my current Jeep Cherokee from Jeep Time line of events, 1989 – Purchased my first vehicle from Jeep Chrysler of Ontario June 2017 – Purchased my current Jeep Cherokee from Jeep Chrysler of Ontario December 22, 2017 – My scheduled maintenance at Jeep Chrysler of Ontario Oil and Filter Change Multi-point Inspection Tire rotation Done while I was waiting, fast and professional service, just as I am custom to and based on my prior experience with the dealer. December 27, 2017 - On my way home, just before 9 PM at intersection of Foothill Blvd. and I-15, approximately 7 miles from Jeep Chrysler of Ontario. Just suddenly at the traffic light my car started running very rough, I pulled over to confirm that I had all fluid levels within standards and called Jeep Chrysler of Ontario. Operator stated that their service department was still open, but no answer at the service desk so I decided to drive to the service location. - While on my way, the “check engine” light came on. - After I arrived at the service department, Mr. Lewis asked me to wait till he finished working on 3-4 files on his desk, approximately 4-5 minutes. - When he finally was able to pay attention to me he made me feel like I was an inconvenience to him. - After explaining what had taken place, he asked me if I had checked the engine oil level. I responded yes. He asked me again like not believing my answer and went on explaining that the low oil level is very common reason. - Then Mr. Lewis explained that the service department were booked till next week and I should bring the car back the following week. Only after I asked him to provide me something in writing that it was okay for me to continue driving with “check engine” light on, Mr. Lewis refused but he was willing to check the car in. - Mr. Lewis diagnosed the car and stated that there was a signal code stating problem with my transmission. - I asked about the shuttle service for ride home (less than 8 miles away). Mr. Lewis stated that his driver was going home at 10 and I would have to arrange my own transportation which I did via Uber and at cost of $12.15. (my check out time was 9:39) - I did ask about a replacement vehicle, he stated to deal with Enterprise Car Rental and the 8-day rental fees most likely are not covered with my service contract. Due to having job sites in Palm Springs and El Centro, renting a car did not make economic sense to me. I had to take one week off from work. - I did explain the importance of having a transportation as soon as possible, I asked if there were anything we could do to expedite the process. Mr. Lewis answered that it would be out of question. January 3, 2018 - Called the service department, after checking the status “Ed” informed that my car was in “temporary hold” and I would have to wait for Mr. Lewis to call me after 2 pm when he comes to work. - Around 2:45 I received a call from Mr. Lewis stating that after new diagnostics there seems to be no problem with my transmission at all and the problem is only a bad coil, but my car needs new spark plugs which will not be covered under the service contract. He also stated that he will check the schedule and let me know the approximate time the car will be ready. - Around 6:30 pm I received a call from Mr. Lewis that my car was ready. - When I picked up the car, I had to pay $295 to get my car. - When I asked to see the replaced parts, I was told that they do not keep them. Here is what has taken place in my opinion. 1. Ontario Jeep does not keep up any standards when it comes to customer service. 2. Mr. Lewis should not do any diagnostics or any job that requires customer service skills. 3. The replacement of spark plugs was not needed rather than a forced sale and fraudulent miss representation of facts by Mr. Lewis. Mopar service contract would have covered all electrical parts if damaged or cause of misfire. 4. It is likely that not all of Ontario employees have the highest level of FCA certification which has been advertised on their website. There were other options that I could have practiced if I knew the right diagnostic in a first place, such as paying less than $200 for replacement of coil-pack at Pep Boys the next day and not miss out on my work schedule, potentially saving me hundreds of dollars. More

He really made me feel like family. After having horrible experiences at the Victorville service center, I lost a lot of hope, but the Ontario service center knows how to treat their customers.
