Hope everyone is well. Just wanted to share the positive encounters I have had since coming to Thomas Dodge back in 2015. After my last car hit the dust in an accident, God led me to Thomas Dodge in Highland to find my beautiful new Chrysler 200. Obi, who sold me the car was absolutely outstanding in every way!! Very kind, caring & professional. Arnita who worked in the service center was outstanding as well. She was really on her game. Unfortunately for the company & Highland's location, those two star employees are no longer working there. They were very helpful. I became very physically sick over three years ago but every time I went to get an oil change, the staff was nice and helpful. This past summer I started having issues with my engine light, stalling & control throttle light coming on. I took it down to Highland like I had always done but they weren't able to get me in for a few weeks. So I prayed and God told me to go to the Thomas Dodge in Cedar Lake instead. I can't deny I was a bit hesitant because I had been going to Highland all this time. (Hard to find great service!!) So I went over to Cedar Lake and Quincy approached my car and asked how he could help. I told him what was going on and he was very helpful, leading me to Jim. He was very helpful as well and scheduled me for an appointment. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to make it to my appointment because of health problems & money issues which made me feel so bad & defeated. The next few months flew by and my brakes were getting really bad. So I prayed for help and waited on God to deliver. He NEVER fails!! Not being able to work the past 3 years without income has been one of the hardest things I've ever faced. My body SCREAMS in AGONIZING horrendous pain!! I've wanted to give up a zillion times but God keeps me going. He is FOREVER GLORIOUS, FAITHFUL, JUST, BEAUTIFUL, SOVEREIGN & TRUE!! He is the GREAT I AM!! (Exodus 3:14-15💞) So I waited on Him (Isaiah 40:28-31💞) and He delivered. PRAISE JESUS!! He blessed me with some money to get my repairs done on my car. I prayed again, asking Him where I should go and He told me Thomas Dodge in Cedar Lake (where I originally had an appointment in Aug) Feeling embarrassed that I wasn't able to get there on my appointment day, I decided to drive on over and explain what happened and make a new appointment. Little did I know God has a beautiful blessing all lined up!! When I arrived, I figured I would just get an oil change because I was due for one and then just schedule for my other maintenance/repairs. Quincy Britton, the same young man who directed me to help the first time, had me pull right in to the fast lane/oil service lane. I told him I needed an oil change please and was super excited and thankful to hear him reply, "Is that all, can I help you with anything else on your vehicle?" My face lit up as I told him about my brakes and engine light/control throttle/stalling problems. He was very busy with other vehicles but still held it all together and told me he would be happy to help me. After waiting only a few mins, he told me he would take it back to calculate the repairs and cost. I was so thankful for his geniune concern even with his very busy schedule. And being a former restaurant employee where upselling was my specialty, I did appreciate Quincy's upsell and savings with the 5 oil change/tire rotation package. 👍 I was really impressed as I watched Quincy run back and forth working on other customer cars and still taking the time to evaluate my car. He came out to the waiting area and showed me the repairs that needed attention. He also informed me that the throttle light was not coming on anymore. He looked up 3 different brand of tires, trying to find me the best quality and price. He ordered the new tires which would be in a few days later and proceeded with the brakes, oil change & tune up. I can't deny it was incredibly hard on my body to sit there but that's because of my med problems. I was so crazy excited, blessed and thankful that God led me right to Quincy. This was an answered prayer!! A mechanic that actually cared, had the customer's best interest & needs at hand and wasn't out to deceive the customer. Praise God!! I want back after the weekend to finish up with the tires and God spoke to my heart to get a transmission and brake flush as well. I told Quincy and he said it wouldn't be a problem. He would take care of it while I was still there. Thank God I had them both flushed as Quincy said they were getting bad. I believe Bill worked on my transmission. He was absolutely amazing as well!! Please forgive me of not remembering everyone's name but I appreciate them all. Alyssa at the cashier's desk was fantastic too!! I still have 3 things that Quincy said he'd be happy to address but so far everything has been exceptionally great!!! This young man has gone out of his way for outstanding guest service. He brought me back to show me my alignment reading and show me my fluid flushes. He stayed until everything was done. (Even an hour after closing) I can't thank God, Quincy (he is definitely management material!! Heck, I wish he was a doctor and lawyer as well!! ??) or Thomas Dodge enough!! You have been a HUGE blessing and I appreciate you all MORE than you know!! Don't ever loose heart, God sees everything. I came in looking at 2 different RAM's and was heavily leaning towards the less expensive of the 2. Luke told me to take the one I was going to buy for a test drive while he put #'s together on the one my wife and I really wanted. Came back from test drive and he tells me I'm getting the one I really came for. Never in a million years did I think he would have gotten this deal done but between him and Paul Jones they made it happen. I have already referred 3 of my friends who are currently in the market for a new vehicle to Luke. Thank you Luke for making this happen my family loves the new truck.
