Chris the service advisor has great communication skills and he treats people with respect. I purchased my van from New Port Richey and did service there. This would have been a potential 5-star review, until this happened. After purchasing my new vehicle on May 19, On June 6, I get a phone call from my former bank that I used to finance my trade-in vehi this happened. After purchasing my new vehicle on May 19, On June 6, I get a phone call from my former bank that I used to finance my trade-in vehicle. The former bank told me that the loan on my former vehicle had NOT yet been paid off. Yes that's correct, 19 days later!. I called Jacobs back and spoke w/ accounting who informed me that they overnighted the pay-off check. They overnighted said check on June 6. I then told accounting to make sure that they contacted the former bank to make sure they had the EXACT pay-off amount, so i would not be stuck "holding the bag" on past due payments; which Jacobs Mitsubishi - Wesley Chapel, is currently responsible for. The Accounting Dept. representative said "yes that's actually a good point" and that they would make sure we get that difference amount sent by way of a second check!! Can you believe this non-sense?? A second check! They didn't have the foresight to contact the bank for the new pay-off amount that had accrued, after they dropped the ball almost 20 days later!! As of June 7, I had asked the accounting department to provide me with a copy of the second check and a copy of the tracking number; which they still failed to get to me!!. This dealership is singlehandedly responsible for messing up my perfect payment history with my former financier. Thank you very much for messing with my credit worthiness - through no fault of my own. And as of typing..the saga continues. Folks, make sure you tighten everything up with these people. Once again, proving that the customer is nothing more than a number. Thank you. More
