Originally this dealer was not my first choice as I live almost four hours away. However, after calling several dealers in my area and being mislead by shady sales representatives and borderline fraudulent almost four hours away. However, after calling several dealers in my area and being mislead by shady sales representatives and borderline fraudulent pricing schemes, I decided to contact Jacob’s Mitsubishi. I was instantly impressed with their quick response, professionalism and transparency. So much so that I drove 4 hours there the following day to buy the vehicle. Worst experience ever. Dealership played games, offered a dollar amount for my trade in (site unseen) never asked condition of my car nothing, asked for more money after co Dealership played games, offered a dollar amount for my trade in (site unseen) never asked condition of my car nothing, asked for more money after contract was signed. Advised me that they were only offered $200 at auction and canceled contract bc they didn’t make enough money on the trade. It’s usually dealerships who screw their customers on trades and one time they didn’t get the amount they wanted they wanted to cancel. So they threw away a 30k purchase along with more customers who were heading to the dealership, all over a trade. All good got a new car and so did my other family members who were going to purchase from the dealership. I have told everyone about our experience and even contacted News Channel 8 about the situation along with attorneys. Best decision was to not purchase from this dealer. More

Drove over an hour from Lakeland to test drive a vehicle. The salesman I had dealt with was a nice guy but was forced to run my credit score before I was even able to test drive the vehicle. I agreed as I was told it was a “ soft inquiry “ and didn’t hit my credit the way a hard inquiry would. Then after this despite having my credit run, speaking to my co signer, the sales manager comes out from his office to look me up and down and in some sideways fashion decide if I was “eligible “ to drive the car. I have owned a vehicle just like this one despite the color combination difference, it’s nothing new to me. The vehicle in question was $57,500 in their ad. I found the auction house they bought the vehicle from for $47,500 and I offered to pay $52k out the door, a reasonable price. The other salesman who stepped in refused to even take the offer to his sales manager, so we left.$10,000 markup on a used car is absurd and complete Robbery. The marked price now is $62,000- $15k more than what they paid for. The vehicle has also had previous paint work I was able to see- but wasn’t disclosed to me. I’m aware they may be accustomed to buyers paying window sticker as they have a maybach and a rolls Royce in the showroom, but if you are not willing to negotiate with average buyers you shouldn’t carry average vehicles.
